Since my mom was in her previous home she wouldn't talk to anyone and kept to herself in her bedroom and was pacing up and down the corridor. My mom has only been here for 3 days and my family has noticed a massive change in her. She sits in the lounge with everyone, she is singing and dancing, she
is more relaxed with everyone. She gives everyone a kiss and a cuddle. It melts our hearts to see her so happy. Thank you!

The staff at Field House are genuinely caring, it is home from home for residents, in a loving safe environment. Field House provide a variety of stimulating activties and residents can appreciate the gardens. Having very complex medical needs, medication was administered with thought and empathy. The
staff always went the extra mile to provide for his dietary needs and cater for his tastes. End of life care was given with dignity and love by every member of staff. My husband and I appreciated all the support given to us through this difficult time.

Despite the disadvantage of being a converted building as opposed to purpose-built, it does its best to overcome the difficulties involved. My room was of a comfortable size, unfortunately without any en-suite, it was clean and bright and everything worked. The outside is beautiful with peaceful gardens
and access for my mobility scooter. The main amenities are geared toward the mentally ill, and people who need constant care as far as I could see, the residents were treated very well with enough staff to deal with this. My personal staff experience was very good with pleasant and caring staff always on hand. The food was excellent, freshly cooked by in-house chefs. Snacks and drinks away available. I could eat either in the dining room or brought to my room. My overall experience was of being welcomed by excellent staff who always made me feel comfortable.

When respite care is needed the management and staff are always extremely helpful professional and friendly. They understand my sisters needs and accommodated these very well. Each time I email or ask for my mother to have something, eg - incontinence pads/hearing aid etc, this is always sorted.

My mom moved to Field House Care Home from a step-down bed from hospital, this choice was taken from our hands initially but it was the best home we could ever have wished for! The management fought hard to keep Mom when they wanted to move her on from social services.
I cannot rate this home highly

This was Dad's first stay in a care home after a long hospital stay earlier in the year. I researched available homes and felt the score/feedback/website were good but we were still dreading it. After a shaky arrival, our taxi being delayed and Dad not being able to use the lift, we were found a lovely
ground-floor room, all our worries were quickly appeased and Dad's words were "My stay made me realise I still had a life to lead".
The team were so friendly, very accommodating and Dad didn't phone me once! He has asked to stay next time I'm away. I couldn't wish for more, they really did a great job.

My dad has been at Field House for just over 12 months and is very settled and well looked after. The staff are amazing they are very caring and ensure all residents' needs are met. We are kept informed of any issues/concerns. I feel we are able to speak to staff and raise any concerns. The staff do

After looking at a number of care homes for our uncle, Field House stood out above the rest with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
He has been a resident since July 2023 and has settled in very well, treated at all times with kindness and dignity and cared for in a safe and homely environment. The management
and staff are first class and go above and beyond at all times, truly working as a team to ensure all the residents are happy and comfortable. He looks forward to the varied daily activities, or just to be able to spend time on sunny days in the fabulous grounds. As a family, we cannot praise Field House highly enough for the care and compassion shown to all the residents and for everything they do to make Field House their home.

My mum moved in here in August 2023 to recuperate from a fractured femur. She is very happy here, her mobility has improved. She is walking well with a frame. Her anxiety has reduced and she is very comfortable here.
The staff are very kind and caring. As a family, we have decided that she should
stay here and she is very happy about that.

Dad has been at Field House for just over a year now, following two serious falls which left him with mobility issues.
Although he struggled to settle at first, all the staff were incredibly understanding and supportive, not only towards Dad, but they supported us as a family too. The entire staff
are always friendly and extremely approachable. Nothing is too much trouble.
Dad enjoys the wonderful garden and views from his room. The food is excellent and the home is kept incredibly clean. The home has a warm atmosphere and a family feel about it.
Dad is now happy and settled and that is due to the care and compassion he has received from everyone at Field House.

My name is Anna and I am the Manager here at Field House. I came into care just over 8 years ago working in a Care Home for people living with Dementia. In my last place of work I trained and gained the qualifications that enabled me to become a Care Practitioner, I am very proud of this achievement. I came to Field House in April 2020 when the opportunity arose for a Deputy Manager. I always wanted to progress into management from the moment I started in care. I have a great passion for care and strive to ensure the team provide the highest quality care to our residents. Out of work, I like to spend time with my children and love holidays on the beach.
