From the resident entering Field House, he was accepted with the utmost respect and dignity. Wonderful staff, care and the stay for him was so good. Just for me to know I need not to worry each day and night, as everything was ten out of ten.

To someone who had never visited, or had much to do with the care home, it was extremely worrying and frightening to have to leave a loved one there, all be it for a short respite stay. But, what a surprise! Field House was welcoming and all the staff were kind and helpful. The food was good and there
were many entertaining activities for those who wished to participate.

Although my brother and sister-in-law have only been at the home since the end of April 2023, I cannot praise the staff and the people who come in to help enough. They have made them so welcome and have improved so much since being here. I cannot thank the staff enough they now join in with activities
and sit with the residents. I had to bring them here from Spain where they had lived for twenty-eight years so it was all a very big upheaval for them but Field House made them and myself so welcome. 10/10 keep up the good work.

My father received superb, loving and attentive care at the end of his life. All the staff were consistently kind, patient and good-humoured. Even when they were obviously busy, attending to the needs of other residents, they found time to say a cheery "hello" through the doorway. Thank you, Field House

The most beautiful setting for a wonderful home my dad is so well looked after and everyone here are so kind and caring! Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful rooms, stunning gardens, lovely food. I would highly recommend it and when my turn comes I would happily come here.

Looked after my relative very well. Difficult to start with when my relative was settling in. The food was very good and my relative had no complaints. He feels he was looked after very well. The family have had no issues with the care our relative has received and all contact with staff members has
been polite and friendly. Our relative will miss everyone! Thank you for looking after him and getting him back on his feet to go home.

Mum was at Field House for almost three years. During this time, the care she received was exceptional. We were unable to see her during Covid but were left with no doubt that every single member of staff was doing everything they possibly could to make the best of the awful situation. Mum's dementia
meant she could be a bit of a handful, especially as it progressed, but all we could see from the staff was a genuine level of love and respect. (Mum passed in October; I know she is missed at Field House).

Recent changes to management mean both the manager and deputy are superb. Both of them know all of the residents inside and out and truly care about providing everyone with respect and kindness. Obviously, the care sector has struggled with staffing over recent months, but Field House has done what
it can to maintain good staffing levels throughout. Activity selection is excellent, food choices are provided every day, and an online family portal provides access to the latest on your loved ones. My father has resided at Field House for over three years, and we would never consider moving him as the care and warmth are just fabulous.

My husband has been a resident at Field House for 3.5 years. He is always treated with the utmost respect from the staff, even when he gives them a hard time. I always have a warm welcome from the staff too. There are activities planned around every occasion, Halloween, remembrance day, bonfire night
and many other entertaining events like visits from exotic animal keepers, keep fit and much more. Now that things are getting back to normal after the pandemic, the family atmosphere at Field House, has returned.

I cannot recommend this care home enough. The staff and carers really go the extra mile. I looked after my mum at home for many, many years and was really nervy about residential, but I am really pleased with Field House.

My family and I are so grateful to all of the staff who look after my father and all of the residents at Field House. The ethos of care, courteousness, patience and interest in each individual is clear from Senior Management and throughout all levels and departments of staff. They all clearly enjoy
their job which is a great testimony to the leaders and there are many incentives and innovations to support their allegiance to the overall aims for the establishment.


There are constant improvements. The much improved outdoor environment and the start to the Dementia Village to name a few.
The activities led by a specialist team are second to none and the only thing that has put a lid on ambition is Covid-19!


My father loves living here and tells me so every week - he says he wouldn’t want to live anywhere else- what better endorsement could you have! We are so glad that we found Field House.

Our mom has been with Fieldhouse for 16 months. All the staff have always been patient and kind to her. There are lots of activities, although our mom often prefers to stay in her room overlooking lovely gardens watching the birds. Mum's wishes are respected, and often they take any visitors and activities
to her. Her physical needs are many and all are cared for. We are very grateful to all at the Field House.

My grandmother went into Field House residential home recently after being at a previous care home, the difference in care is unbelievable. They genuinely became her family. The bond with the carers was obvious and lovely to see. During the pandemic they dealt with it amazingly, building a room in speedy
time allowing us to still see residents through a screen with a microphone. Nan always mentioned how lovely the food was. She was always well-groomed, clothes always clean and they even painted her nails weekly! They recently built a new bar which all the residents absolutely adore! I would happily let any relative stay at Field House if needed and that speaks volumes. Unfortunately, my Nan recently passed but Field House was there every step of the way and kept us informed on everything which happened. Thanks for everything Field! I hope one day if I ever need it, I could reserve a room there, I heard the cake is to die for!

Moved Mom here from awful care home, she immediately improved in weight and happiness. Her quality of life improved enormously, the staff and management were fantastic and went out of their way to help her and all the family. Even through the stresses of Covid, and not one case of covid throughout the
whole pandemic
The house and gardens are stunning and the staff try to get the residents out in the sun as much as possible. There were many activities and they post photos on social media for family to see.
Management and carer's really do care about the residents and go the extra mile to make sure they stay stimulating and dignified.

My name is Anna and I am the Manager here at Field House. I came into care just over 8 years ago working in a Care Home for people living with Dementia. In my last place of work I trained and gained the qualifications that enabled me to become a Care Practitioner, I am very proud of this achievement. I came to Field House in April 2020 when the opportunity arose for a Deputy Manager. I always wanted to progress into management from the moment I started in care. I have a great passion for care and strive to ensure the team provide the highest quality care to our residents. Out of work, I like to spend time with my children and love holidays on the beach.

I also raise any concerns and work with the other Senior Carers to ensure our residents are fully supported.
