Minster Grange Residential Home in Stourport-On-Severn is proud of their team’s efforts to support older people.

The home is a former manor house and grade-II listed building situated in the rural area of Dunley, five minutes from Stourport town centre.

Residents are able to bring their own furniture and pets to the home.

The care home's main aim is to help residents maximise their full potential in living a fulfilling and enjoyable life.

Doctors visit as required and monthly reviews are held to ensure the physical and mental well being of the individual. The home also provides hairdressing, podiatry, manicures, reflexology, entertainment and seasonal activities.

Resident's families and friends are respected and invited to visit without restriction. All meals served at Dunley are of the highest standard, with quality and freshness being the priority of the service.

I was a bit worried about leaving my friend over Xmas but there was no need to have worried.
He had a lovely room with a view outside, the room was clean and very pleasant.
The food was well presented. The staff were very friendly and attended to his every need.
I would not hesitate to use the home
for respite again.

The home is warm and welcoming - both building and staff. This has been a cruel and emotional time for us as a family made easier by the kindness shown to us all.

The staff are always welcoming and the residents are always well cared for and seem ok, Mum is happy there. The residents are clean and well-fed. The staff are approachable and keep us updated on the health of Mum by phone or when we visit.

Minster Grange Care Home is a small residential home with a big heart. This is clearly shown by the dedication, care and professionalism of the manager and care team within the home. The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting and visitors are always made to feel welcome.
Our mother has been a
resident within the home for less than a year and there has been a big improvement in her weight and overall heath. Well done everyone at Minster Grange.

My husband has been at Minster Grange for 14 months. His care by all staff and management has been excellent, he has settled well, and any concerns I have had have been dealt with immediately. They have shown me a lot of compassion when I've been struggling. Couldn't wish for a better place, and staff
credit to them all; they are diamonds.

The care home is so beautiful and has a lovely homely feel as soon as you walk in, and everyone feels like one big happy family there. The manager and the team are so lovely and go above and beyond to give the best care to the residents. My mom has settled in well and her health has improved since being
there, I cannot thank the staff enough for what they do on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

Minster Grange Residential Home has been caring for our mother for three months now and so far our experience is very positive. The staff are very caring and thoughtful with nothing being too much trouble. They have an "open house" policy so we are able to visit as and when we please.
This is a lovely,
'homely' care home with staff that really care. We are so pleased we chose Minster Grange for our mother.

My grandma has been a resident at Minster Grange for nearly two years, and during that time, all the team have offered the most amazing support, not only for her but also for us as a family. Both in her transition into care and every day since! They are always pleased to see visitors, and it's never
inconvenient to pop in and see your loved ones. All the girls have now become a part of our family! Right now we are in the midst of a very scary and uncertain time, and the team at Minster Grange have been so professional, caring and understanding of all their resident's needs and those of their families.
I cannot endorse the care and the team at Minster Grange enough!

Our experience with Minster Grange has been very positive. The home is of a very good standard in all respects but most importantly the caring and helpful staff have made my mother really happy. It seems like one big family and they really do care. This helpful attitude also extends to visitors. My
mother's health seems to be better in general since arrival and she has put on a small amount of weight due to better eating which has really been good for her, but most important to us all is that she is much more happier than before.

This is a wonderful place, lovely staff who actually care! They looked after my mum fantastically well and every time I visited she was happy and in great spirits which can't be said for some care homes I have visited! Mum felt safe and secure and well looked after and cared for at all times which is
a huge weight off my shoulders. If you have a relative or loved one that needs residential care I would highly recommend Minster Grange.

My mother has been at Minster Grange for 2 years now after a diagnosis of advanced dementia. Her physical state has improved considerably in that time. We visit weekly and always feel impressed by the friendly and caring staff. They are always busy doing something for the clients e.g making drinks,
helping them to the toilet, giving manicures etc. There is always a display of posters which advertise the activities for that week, Visiting Singer, Excercise class. My wife is a registered nurse and is very impressed by the standards of cleanliness. There is no unpleasant smell (often associated with a care home). It may not be the biggest or most modern of homes but it is beautifully kept, very homely and extremely good value for money. We have found a real gem here!.

My husband went in for nine days respite care. He has dementia. This is the first time this has happened and I was very stressed at his coping with the situation. He did not understand where or why he was going. I need not have worried. The staff at Minster Grange were very kind. They looked after
his every need. They even got him to engage in the activities.


I am so impressed with the home and staff. I am hoping to have more respite care and will ask for Minster Grange again if possible. I recommend it to everyone.

Our mum has been in Minster Grange only a few months in that time she has been very happy and contented. Something we thought she would be against has proved very enjoyable for her. This, of course, is a reflection on the staff and management who are very professional at carrying out their duties. It

My mother has been in Minster Grange for almost six years. We have been delighted with the care and thoughtfulness of the staff throughout. Her individual needs have been well catered for and communication has been upgraded and real investment is taking place. Meals are well planned, the food is plentiful,
well presented and healthy with individual needs and choices catered for. Visitors are always made welcome and staff have built good relationship with the service users and their guests. We are pleased my mother is looked after so well and we have great confidence in the end of life care being aware of many past experience of service user and their families over the years.
