The team at Regent are what makes this home stand out. They are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents with fabulous experiences and activities.

From gardening in the home’s allotment, visits from local school children, to trips out in the minibus to all sorts of attractions, from an animal petting farm and the Black Country Living Museum to the beach at Weston-Super-Mare, there is so much to do.

The residents enjoy regular visits from pet therapy dog Dusty, as well as lots of other animals, including guinea pigs. There is so much entertainment, from magicians to singers. And chair yoga is one of many gentle exercises the residents enjoy.

As well as providing residential and dementia care, Regent also offers pre-bookable respite care breaks, which are ideal for carers who would like a short break themselves, knowing their loved one is in safe hands.

The residents recently had front row seat when two of the staff recreated their wedding in the home, because they couldn’t invite everyone to their big day. They wore their wedding attire, read their vows and cut the cake all over again, so their residents could be there with them!

The team are passionate about enriching their residents’ lives and supporting them to have a very active role to play in how their home is run. For example, there is a resident ambassador, who helps new residents to settle into the home, as well as supporting with staff interviews.

The home itself has a warm family feel, with lots of lovely areas to enjoy. There are lots of lounge and dining areas, and a hairdresser visits twice a week for appointments in the salon.

The gardens are stunning, with a water feature and an allotment plot, where the residents love growing produce to use in the kitchens, where delicious home-cooked food is prepared by the chef. Many of the bedrooms, which have ensuite bathrooms, have patio doors leading to the gardens.

My mother is 102 years old next Sunday, she has been at Regent Residential for the last 10 years and has been very happy there. All staff are kind and caring and go the extra mile to make residents feel special. Food and cleanliness are excellent. Although my mother does not join in many activities,
there are so many available, including trips to garden centres, seaside and cafes.
In all, a first-rate care home.

This place is absolutely brilliant. It's never nice when our parents have to go into residential care but my Mum's dementia had got too bad for her to be safe in her flat even though it was sheltered accommodation. Mum was rather overwhelmed and confused to begin with but every single member of staff
made her feel welcome and she soon settled. The rooms are a good size and Mum's looks out over onto the beautiful garden. The food is obviously very good as mum eats everything that is put in front of her, and has put on a decent amount of weight after it plummeted from her not eating properly at home despite me getting her shopping every week. There are loads of activities for the residents to do and Mum appears to be embracing these very enthusiastically. The team leaders keep me informed of everything that goes on with Mum, which has been fantastic recently while I have been struck down by stupid Covid again so have not been able to visit. I'm so happy that Mum is in Regent.

After a somewhat difficult start, Mum seems to have settled at Regent Residential Care Home. My experience of the staff has been nothing but positive and Mum enjoys the various activities that are provided. I'm happy to know she's in a place where she's safe and well looked after. My only small negative
observation is the smell of the first-floor unit and the call alarms that seem to be constantly activated.

My father has Alzheimer's disease and things came to a head last August when we just could not cope at home anymore. We had used Regent House for respite and had been pleased with the care. When I phoned, desperate for help, the staff recognised it straight away and the help and support we received
was second to none. They admitted him the same day and advised on the care and assessment that would take place. They looked after my father so well and gave us, as a family, so much support. I had no hesitation in asking them to give him permanent care. They are all kind and caring and watch Dad for anything that appears to be wrong with him, not hesitating to call medics when required. They keep me informed too. Dad has had to be put on a special diet which the carers recognised and organised, they are so knowledgeable. He is cared for, has company and is entertained. He has even been out on a trip to a motor museum, which he loved. I cannot thank them enough - how lucky we were to choose them.

My friend has received excellent care during the last 18 months. Her physical needs are all catered for and her health and mental wellbeing are carefully monitored. She is encouraged to join in all the activities which are on offer and she has enjoyed her day trips out.The carers are all very friendly
and helpful. Her room is pleasant and kept spotlessly clean.

My mum has been staying at Regent since 2019. She has dementia which has worsened over the 3 years. She is very settled and always seems happy when I visit.
The staff treat her with respect and care. They have been very good at recognising her increasing needs and she has now moved to a wing for residents
needing more one-to-one help.
There is an extremely good activity/entertainment programme.
Every time I visit, the staff are welcoming and friendly. They are quick to phone with any updates.
I feel confident she is well looked after.

My mother moved into Regent Residential Care Home in November 2022 as a permanent resident. It had not been her choice however due to her dementia/Alzheimer's it was no longer viable for her to live alone. From the day she moved in all the staff have been so welcoming and supportive. As the daughter
making this decision due to Mum no longer having mental capacity, I have found it very traumatic however the staff have supported me so much. Knowing my mother is now safe, warm, fed and no longer alone is so reassuring. Activities are organised throughout the week and this has wakened my mum up again, bringing a smile to her face. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

Both my parents were residents in Regent Residential Care Home Worcester. They received the highest level of care. They were surrounded by caring staff that went above and beyond. The staff not only cared for their residents but also showed care for the relatives as well. It is obvious that all staff

My Father started his residence at Regent Care Home in April 2020, just as the 1st Covid lockdown was implemented. Regent Staff with a strict and successful regime protected the residents and the Staff went well beyond what was required of them to safeguard them. My father thought of them as his friends,
not just staff.
Despite his immobility and disabilities, nothing was too much trouble for them and he had a brilliant rapport with them. He was rarely unwell and his death even though he was 97 years was a huge shock and genuinely mourned by his friends on the staff.
They were so caring and welcoming to my wife and I when we visited my father and I can never repay them for their kindness and friendly demeanours.
I can’t praise them enough!

As always when I visit all the staff are kind, friendly and take great care of all the residents and I see them interact with them. Mum is always safe, warm and well cared for. All the staff know her likes and dislikes and how she has been on that day. The staff are excellent and mum is relaxed in their

We found all of the staff very kind and caring, not just for my father but for my family too in the support

Since my father was admitted to Regent the whole team have been brilliant, managing both his individual care needs and any communication updates to myself and the rest of the family.
He recently suffered a funny turn, after breakfast, and I was immediately contacted and discussed the whole episode
both with carers and the paramedics: what had happened, possible issues, immediate follow-up actions, potential consequences, ongoing monitoring...
The whole team, as usual, were totally professional and making sure the client's needs were placed first.

Mum stayed in Regent House for 3 days respite in February. The manager and all staff were friendly and very caring, she could not of received better care and was very happy staying there. During the days they had various activities going on, which I feel helps to keep the residents minds active.
Mum
had a fall recently and as no hospital beds were available due to the Covid19, I approached Regent House again and was extremely lucky to get a respite bed for Mum again.
Regent House is very well kept, extremely clean and abiding by the covid rules. The food is healthy and all freshly cooked daily and mum enjoys it very much.
A very BIG THANK YOU to the manager her deputy and all of the other staff. We as a family could not ask for more.

The best feedback that I could give this excellent Regent Residential Care Home is that I would be happy to stay there in my later years. I am very confident that my mum is being well looked after. All staff show high standards of care, professionalism and friendliness. The Regent Care Home's response
to the Covid-19 pandemic has been exceptional with early lockdown and sensible recent face-to-face visits under strict guidelines now being allowed. I began my career working in retail management and it wasn't until 2003 when my mother passed away from cancer, I decided a complete career change and embarked on my journey in care.
I thoroughly enjoy my role at Regent, making a positive difference to our lovely residents' lives and supporting their families during the decision process of placing their loved ones into a care home.

When you meet activities coordinator Helen, she exudes so much energy and passion it’s easy to see why she’s stayed at Regent Residential Care Home in Worcester for 13 years.


“I absolutely love it,” she says. “It’s arriving in the morning and seeing the residents’ faces light up as they say ‘what are we going to do today?”


For Helen, the most important part of her role is knowing she is enriching the lives of her residents every day.
