We appreciate you sharing your feedback although we must state categorically in respect of your comment that your relative was locked in her bedroom, that this is entirely inaccurate as bedroom doors do not have locks or the coded system you refer to. Whilst this is not the appropriate forum to discuss individual circumstances, we would assure you that secure areas within care homes for those living with dementia is commonplace to ensure the safety of residents, and fire policies and procedures that exist are robust, regularly checked internally and by external agencies and routinely drilled.
