Willow Bank prides itself on giving residents freedom to maintain a good quality of life under watchful care, for those who otherwise would be forced to live within lifestyle constraints.

The purpose-built home presents a clean and secure environment to accommodate the needs of all individuals. There are several communal areas for the residents to choose from, dependent on their mood, and two additional wings which are suitable for high dependent clients who are more comfortable in smaller groups.

A daily activities programme is designed to encourage residents to engage in social activities or hobbies to stimulate both body and mind. Community involvement is also encouraged, with regular visits from a variety of organisations in the area.

An experienced kitchen team at Willow Bank are dedicated to providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for all residents, adapting to preferences and requirements. The ingredients are locally sourced allowing meals to be produced each day using fresh ingredients.

My mother is a long term resident (5 years this February) at Willowbank. She has vascular dementia and her condition has progressed as would be expected. What has been consistent over this time is the kind, respectful and caring support she has received from all Willowbank carers and ancillary staff.
Within a secure environment, residents are given as much freedom as is possible to move around the home and to make their own choices. There is a regular programme of activities within the main lounge and there always seems to be something entertaining happening on my weekly visits to Mum. Family engagement is always encouraged and managers and staff make themselves available for any questions and regular review meetings. The home is bright and cheerful and well maintained. Most importantly the home has as its backbone a really dedicated Manager, Deputy, Head of Care and Team Leaders who have my respect.

Accompanied mum to the monthly Dementia Cafe run at Willow Bank House. As usual it was lovely. Mum really enjoyed the homemade biscuits. Lovely talking to other residents and relatives. Then went to main lounge to listen to entertainment. Mum really enjoys singing along to the songs.

Staff always welcoming. We recently lost our dad who loved to visit Mum at Willowbank. Myself and my sister appreciated the kindness shown to Dad and ourselves. The care shown to Mum is wonderful and we always have good feedback when we visit and call.

My mother has been a resident here at Willow Bank care home for 18 months.
All the staff are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond to help my mom and even myself and my father.
Their kindness and caring attitude shines through making my mom smile every day.
The home is always clean and the
food smells delicious.
They're always able to answer any questions we may have with empathy and love.
There is a good continuity with regular and familiar staff.
The activities are wonderful, there's always something happening such as magicians, trips out, singers, animal visits and so much more.
I know my mom is safe and cared for at Willow Bank care home.
They are all wonderful!

My mother is now thriving at Willowbank Care Home (she has been a resident for 3 years), and I truly believe this is due to the care, hard work and dedication of their wonderful team. I cannot express how grateful I am to Willow Bank the staff are unbelievably the best I could ever wish for to look after my husband. They are professional, hard-working, kind, caring and that is all of them from the office staff to the kitchen to domestic to carers they have done so much for my husband,
they are his family, and they are the ones he wants to be with, they are the ones he feels safe with, they are the ones he smiles at. I can see when I go there that they all do their best and go that extra mile even if it's just to hold a resident's hand while they are upset or scared. They are always doing things to make it as enjoyable as they can for them including craft days, hairdressers, games, singers, comedians and days out and other events, in fact, they have a better social life than me. I love going to see my husband there. I can say wholeheartedly I would never want him to go anywhere else.

Would recommend Willow Bank as an excellent care home for someone with dementia needs. The carers and other staff are pleasant, polite and present a happy environment for the residents. The chefs provide wonderful food and the cleanliness is very good. Lots of entertainment for all to enjoy.

My mum has been at Willow Bank for the past three years. I cannot praise the staff enough, they are all exceptional. I am always fully informed regarding her care, and any questions I have are always answered fully. The atmosphere at Willow Bank is very happy, with music playing and lots of activities
going on, but also quiet areas for people who like a slower pace,
Dementia cafe is great to meet other families.

My mum seems very happy here. She has been a resident for 2 years. The staff are very caring and attend to her every need, They are also very approachable if there is an issue. Housekeeping is very good. Her room is kept clean and the home is very pleasantly decorated. However, maybe her room could
do with a lick of paint. She enjoys the frequent musical activities.

My father's care has been excellent. Staff are all very friendly and take the time to get to know residents. Dad is happy living here and feels safe and well looked after. Lots of activities, singing and dancing are on offer. We recently had a family party for a big birthday for Dad and the staff were
very accommodating and helpful with this - we all had a lovely time.
I would certainly recommend Willow Bank as a lovely home with excellent staff and in such a peaceful setting.

My husband has been at Willow Bank since June 2024. The staff are very approachable and have taken time to get to know my husband and the challenges he presents. This is a well-run home which is kept clean and tidy. I had my reservations about placing my husband here but all my worries have been allayed
having seen how well cared for he is. I would recommend this home without hesitation.

Relative looks really clean, tidy and happy since coming into Willow Bank. I've known him for over 30 years and this is the most calm and contented he has been in the last 4 years. He displays no anger or anxiety which he had been doing. All staff are very caring with him and he likes them all.

Carole has worked in care for 30 years, starting her career at Worcester County Council as a domiciliary care assistant, then moving to Sanctuary. At Sanctuary, she started as a Care Assistant and worked her way up to the Home Manager position. Carole has achieved her NVQ 5 and Leadership in Dementia Qualification with Worcester University.
Carole has two grown up children, one of whom lives in Canada and she has just been made a Grandmother for the second time. Her hobbies include walking, reading and family days out.
