Willow Bank House is set in a rural location, close to the market town of Pershore and offers quality care in luxurious surroundings.

Willow Bank prides itself on giving residents freedom to maintain a good quality of life under watchful care, for those who otherwise would be forced to live within lifestyle constraints.

The purpose-built home presents a clean and secure environment to accommodate the needs of all individuals. There are several communal areas for the residents to choose from, dependent on their mood, and two additional wings which are suitable for high dependent clients who are more comfortable in smaller groups.

A daily activities programme is designed to encourage residents to engage in social activities or hobbies to stimulate both body and mind. Community involvement is also encouraged, with regular visits from a variety of organisations in the area.

An experienced kitchen team at Willow Bank are dedicated to providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for all residents, adapting to preferences and requirements. The ingredients are locally sourced allowing meals to be produced each day using fresh ingredients.

I have visited many care homes with different members of my family. This care home is excellent in all aspects. My uncle is well looked after, both in his personal needs and mobility needs. Nothing is too much trouble for any members of staff. When leaving my uncle it is always with the knowledge that
he is safe, well looked after and that all his needs are being met.

Recent changes within the home ie managerial, have improved standards considerably. The whole outlook of the home has changed very much for the better. New ideas, new decorations, lots of motivation.
Most importantly, my mother-in-law is happy and well looked after.

My brother was in hospital for eight months and was diagnosed with dementia. He moved into Willow Bank three months ago. He is settled and content with his care and surroundings. Willow Bank is bright, light and with very pleasant decor. The rooms are very nice, more like a hotel. The staff are very
helpful. I am happy my brother is receiving good care and assistance.

Today was the opening of the dementia café. It was a lovely event. Willow Bank has changed beyond all expectations. Staff are so lovely and approachable and morale seems to be very high.

My grandad has recently moved here and its a lovely nursing home in a beautiful setting. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. My Grandad really enjoys the entertainment they put on for him, he's always in the lounge when I visit him, we've noticed a real change in him being here. His weight was
a concern but he's now happily eating and gaining weight which is better for him. I thank all the staff and management there as they really do take care of him and it's lovely how all the staff know all the residents.

When I visit Mum there is always a warm and friendly welcome from the kind and caring staff. Mum is content and the environment is pleasant with a variety of interesting activities for those who wish to take part.

While there is much improvement at Willow Bank over the last few months example laundry, food and activities and cleanliness seem better at times. Management and staff are very approachable and friendly but at times feel the care team lacks some understanding of the resident's needs.

After a few very challenging months Willow Bank has undergone a complete change since the new management has taken over. The ambience of the home has improved considerably, staff and residents alike seem much happier and more relaxed. There has been hardly any staff turnover which is good for morale
amongst residents and relatives.
The staff are kind, caring and considerate, knowing and understanding each individual residents needs, likes and dislikes. The laundry has improved considerably with my mum having all her own clothes returned to her room after each wash. The food is excellent with plenty of choices, good sized portions and individual needs catered for. Good variety of entertainment.

I would without reservation recommend Willow Bank Care Home. Their understanding of dementia care is second to none. All staff are kind, patient and very understanding of their residents be it a good day or bad day for the individual resident. Staff are very approachable, helpful and became friends
to me during my many visits to a close family member. I was always made welcome on my visits and got to know other residents there so it was like having a second family.
Staff at Willow Bank Care Home work hard and are obviously dedicated to their work.


Laundry services are excellent and rooms are cleaned daily. Residents are free to choose their daily attire and also whether or not to join in activities, there is no pressure for them to gather in the same room. All staff made the effort to hold conversations with the residents and again this reinforced the kindness I saw during my visits.


I would like to thank all staff at Willow Bank Care home for the love and care they give.

Best care home I have been in. The love and care my farther receives from all the staff is second to none. Very high standards. Entertainment very good. Could not wish for a better place for my farther, he is very happy there.

Carole Hall

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2018

Carole has worked in care for 30 years, starting her career at Worcester County Council as a domiciliary care assistant, then moving to Sanctuary. At Sanctuary, she started as a Care Assistant and worked her way up to the Home Manager position. Carole has achieved her NVQ 5 and Leadership in Dementia Qualification with Worcester University.
Carole has two grown up children, one of whom lives in Canada and she has just been made a Grandmother for the second time. Her hobbies include walking, reading and family days out.
