My wife has only been at this home since January 2017 but I find the staff and the home excellent. This home was recommended to me by the daughter of another resident which was fortunate as I think I have made the correct choice.

We found Landona and all the staff very helpful, professional, kind and caring. They always treated my father with the utmost respect. The food was very good and the accommodation very clean. I would highly recommend Landona House.

My mother is extremely happy at Landona House and I feel she is well cared for. On most occasions she looks well, has been dressed with care and coordination with attention to detail like hair and nails done. Since she has been at Landona there has been little change of staff and I feel that it has
a family atmosphere. I always feel welcome and am offered refreshment. I have no hesitation in recommending Landona House to others.

My mother was admitted to Landona House initially for a period of two weeks respite care which was extended a further two weeks. Due to the skill and attention of the dedicated staff her mediation was greatly reduced, her self confidence increased and she began to socialise- something she had not done
for a long long time. Mental stimulation is the key factor and patients are encouraged to take part in various activities and socialise. In summary my experience of Landona House has been excellent and is highly recommended.

Saturday 19th December my mother had a nasty fall at the Christmas Fayre at Landona House. The staff swiftly and efficiently dealt with the situation, caring for her ( and me as she had pulled me down with her) I could not have asked for any better help and kindness shown to us both. The paramedics
were called and soon had her into hospital. The staff lay on the floor comforting her all the time while trying to assess and deal with her injuries. The management had the situation in hand at all times.

Mum enjoys being there. She is looked after very well. She has had a few nasty illnesses and they have looked after her very well and she is well again now. She enjoys the company and the food. She enjoys the entertainment and singing. It is such a relief for us, that she loves living there.

I've worked at Landona House for nearly 6 years, I started as a senior carer, and I then pursued work towards my level 4 in 2023 which I then completed early this year.


Since then I have been promoted to deputy manager where I have furthered my knowledge extensively which as a result has led me to be an active positive and structured team leader where I actively support the staff and ensure we deliver a high standard of care to our residents who reside at our home.
