From the first to the last day of my mum's time at Woodland, every member of staff treated her with such care and dignity. She was always immaculately dressed and clean. I know she enjoyed the lovely food and the daily activities. Her room and ensuite were lovely, homely and spotless. I was kept really
well informed of how my mum was especially as Covid restrictions prevented me from visiting as often as I wanted. Her last days were peaceful, dignified and full of compassion for her and me.

Our mother has been a resident at Woodland Residential Care Home for a few years now, and from the outset, the staff have consistently exceeded our expectations.
Mum has many issues that present challenges to her care and yet, every day, she feels safe and loved in a happy and comfortable environment.

We commend the whole team at Woodlands. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and knowing Mum is in such capable hands has gone a long way to helping the family come to terms with Mum's condition.
Thank you, Woodland. Not just for the exceptional job you do every day in the care home, but for the unseen work you have done in supporting the family through such difficult times.
I cannot recommend Woodland Residential Care Home highly enough. This is where the bar is set. This is where you find real, genuine care, in a care home. Superb.

The staff at Woodlands are absolutely wonderful, kind, caring, attentive to the needs of their residents and create a wonderful, homely, family environment. Regular activities keep residents engaged and active. The activities include making gifts, games, baking, crafts, gardening and other domestic
skills. Numerous photos and videos are posted on social media, along with frequent live video chats. Woodland's has a strong management team which is well led by the manager, who has gone above and beyond Government advice in order to keep our loved ones safe, happy and healthy. I feel extremely comforted knowing that my family member is in the excellent care of the Woodlands team in these very difficult times. During her stay, my relative has always indicated how happy she is at Woodlands and is well looked after. I would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to the whole team for all you do. To families looking for a residential care home in these times of covid, I would not hesitate to recommend Woodland.

Mum is very happy living in Woodland and the staff are like another family for her, offering a loving, caring and safe environment. Staff show that they know her well and respond well to her needs and wishes. Mum's speech is limited now, due to dementia and she is partially sighted but staff find creative
ways to offer her stimulation and activities in which she can engage. During the ongoing covid pandemic, staff have gone above and beyond in the care they offer and we have appreciated the photos and videos they have sent of Mum as her condition makes her unable to cope with phone or video calls with us. We appreciate all that the staff do for Mum.

Mum has been in Woodland Residential Home for three years and has received wonderful care. All the staff are very professional, positive and caring. During the pandemic, we have not been able to return to the UK to see Mum, and the staff very kindly arranged video calls so that we are able to see her.
These calls have enabled Mum to meet her great-granddaughter, which has been a wonderful tonic for her, and a great joy for us during these very difficult times. The staff regularly arrange activities for all to partake in and share lots of photos and videos on their Facebook page, which is lovely for families to see. They also have a lovely garden where Mum spends a lot of her time, in the summer. Woodland is like a big family where everyone is made to feel special; something they all deserve.

My mother has been in this care home for at least 6 years now. She was very thin and anxious when she arrived - due to ill health, but she has blossomed in the home, put on weight and takes part in the care home activities. I regularly get photos showing me what she is up to. She has made friends with
other residents and staff. I am not able to visit but am not worried as she is well cared for by the excellent staff in the home. They have time to listen to me and her. I ring her once a week and she is bursting to tell me her news.

My Mum has been a resident at the Woodlands for the last 14 months and my sister and I are more than happy with the loving care she receives there. I visit Mum daily, COVID restrictions allowing and each day, I am welcomed by the exceptional members of staff who make the care home such a homely, happy
place to be. All of the staff from the carers to the cleaners, kitchen staff and maintenance man, go above and beyond to make the Woodlands such a lovely care home. There are always lots of activities organised for the residents from baking to gardening, colouring and crafts. The meals are freshly cooked and any preferences catered for by the fantastic cooks. The care given at the Woodlands is excellent and it is so reassuring to know that Mum has such dedicated Carers looking after her 24 hours a day. We are very glad that we found the Woodlands for our lovely Mum.

Woodlands care home has been looking after my mother, who is 100 this year, for about two years and all staff have been amazing with their care towards Mum, especially at this difficult Covid time. Mum is very happy and comfortable with all the staff and is always complimentary about their care towards
her. She always praises the quality of the food that is presented to her. Pre Covid 2019, on a return journey after a day out with my family, as we turned onto the drive of the Woodlands, Mum's comments were “Home sweet home.” I can’t think of any better praise for the home and all the staff. My two brothers and I are so grateful that we chose The Woodlands for my Mum's care.

My mum resides at Woodland Care Home and she is very well looked after. The staff are always friendly and happy and all Mum's needs are met. The home has a lovely feel about it and is really a home from home. The team there provide wonderful food, entertainment and hobbies, clean and tidy rooms and

Our mother has been a resident of Woodlands Residential Home since November 2019 and has been very happy and settled there since the day she arrived. The level of care and attention she has received from the wonderful staff has been truly outstanding. At this most difficult and stressful time, it has
meant the world to our family that she is in the very best hands. The staff have gone above and beyond to make our mother feel loved, cared for, safe and secure.

My grandmother has been in Woodlands for the last three years, and she has been looked after wonderfully. Although I live abroad, Nan’s carers go the extra mile and organise video calls every week, which is so much more than a normal phone call. This has enabled Nan to see her great-granddaughter growing
up (as we have not been able to travel due to the pandemic), and we love seeing her face during the calls. We even got to have a chat on Christmas Day, which was so special. We are kept up to date regularly with photos and videos and also through their Facebook page. You can really tell that Nan is so well looked after and entertained with all the activities and celebrations of birthdays, etc that are organised for the residents. Although Nan’s health is not as good as it could be, it is so reassuring to know the staff are so caring and look after her so well.

Dad has been a resident at Woodlands for 12-months. He is treated with respect and dignity and is extremely well looked after. His food preferences are taken into consideration, and the cook is wonderful making celebration and birthday cakes/parties.
It has been exceptionally challenging for us as
a family as no sooner had Dad moved in, then Covid restrictions were put in place. I have been so impressed by the safety measures implemented swiftly by the manager prioritising residents and staff safety. (She even cut Dad's hair when the hairdresser wasn’t able to visit!). It doesn’t seem fair to mention individual members of staff, as they are all excellent, however, we are extremely grateful to the lady who organises activities. She creates a fun environment and encourages everyone to participate. Dad is very competitive and loves all the games. She is also fabulous FaceTiming us regularly allowing us to stay in touch with Dad, it is so important during lockdown to have this reassurance.

My mum has been at Woodlands Residential Care Home for approximately eighteen months, and the loving care she receives is second to none. They have a first-class entertainment programme, and excellent all-round facilities to make all the residents feel at home. Family is the way Mum regards all the

My Dad has been in the Woodland Residential Care Home for 7 months, and his needs have been catered for wonderfully from the very beginning. Dad has a lovely bright warm, airy room, which looks out onto the gardens that surround the property. Each day I feel reassured that all of Dad’s needs are met,
which is down to a team of dedicated professional carers that look after Dad’s safety and welfare 24 hours a day. The food at the home is extremely good, and Dad's preferences catered for. It is always very clean. There are activities each day, outings when possible, and lovely parties arranged at different times of the year. Reassuringly, the owner and his partner live on the premises and are involved in the running of the home. All of the staff are dedicated, kind, caring and professional, and I am always reassured by the fact that any concerns would always be dealt with. The Woodland Residential Care home has a special, unique quality and I feel lucky to have found it for my Dad.
