Both long and short-term stays are available and the team look to offer a welcoming environment to visiting loved ones, as well as helping residents to make the most of each day in whichever way suits them.

I moved mum to Alder Grange from another residential care home where she had been for eight years previously and the care had deteriorated.
I was very anxious at first because I had lost all faith in the care that mum had had.
Alder Grange has fulfilled all my mother's needs and I wouldn't hesitate
to recommend them.
I have found the management very easy to talk to and they always have time to listen and oblige my requests.

Alder Grange has a very homely atmosphere. All the staff are kind and caring to my father and when we visit we are always made very welcome. It is a great comfort to know he is happy and well looked after. I would recommend Alder Grange to anyone requiring top class care for a loved one.

My mum has been in the home for almost 2 years, I am also a volunteer. The staff are lovely, so caring and it's just so homely, you can talk to them, even the management they will help you with anything. My mum loves it, the food is all home cooked. It's the best home around!

The level of professional care shown to my mother throughout her stay at Alder Grange Care Home has been extremely high. The care and concern shown to get exactly the right type of medical help for diabetes and dementia has been fantastic - nothing has been too much trouble. Likewise the programme
of activities and outings has been exemplary and so beneficial to my mother's health and wellbeing. Indeed it is very much due to the kind and caring attentions of the staff that my mum has settled in so well and has a happy and contented life at Alder Grange.

My mum entered Alder Grange after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's and a couple of instances where it was clear she needed full time care. She spent 5 ½ years in this wonderful home, and I use the word "home" as I would to describe where a person feels comfortable, safe and loved. My mum loved Alder
Grange and the incredible staff who cared for her with so much compassion, patience and affection, right through her end stages until her passing in October 2015. Whenever I had the opportunity to visit I was always welcomed and remembered and there was no doubt in my mind that there could have been no better place for my mum to have lived her last years. It really was like waling into someone's home and not a residential home. But make no mistake the care was full on and incredibly efficient and professional. I highly recommend Alder Grange.

My mother stayed at Alder Grange to allow me some respite from my role as carer. We would most certainly recommend Alder Grange to others as it provided such excellent care. My mother has complex dietary needs and they were totally catered for. She was really happy whilst there- surrounded by the most
caring, sensitive and professional staff, who have created a warm and comforting environment where all her needs were met.

My mother was a resident at the home for 4 years until she sadly passed away in July 2015.
During that time the care she received at Alder Grange was wonderful. No -one could have done more for my mum than the staff did on a daily basis, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The staff all cared
for my mum as if she was one of their family and I think they all loved her as much. Almost every member of staff (and a number who had left a while ago) attended my mum's funeral which shows the feelings they all had for her.
The home has a lovely 'homely' atmosphere where each resident is a treated as a special individual unlike larger establishments where the great number of residents makes it difficult to devote the time to every person.
Finding a home for a parent is a difficult and traumatic experience but I was fortunate enough to find the BEST home for my mum.

My mother has been at this home for 5yrs and has received nothing but love and exemplary care delivered with sensitivity and understanding. Every member of staff shows empathy and discretion when caring for the residents and I cannot recommend Alder Grange more highly.
