Mum has been a resident at the Farmhouse for almost three years. She is very happy and cared for there, to a very high standard, by a dedicated, friendly and efficient team of staff. She regularly makes very positive comments on the food and care provided. We live a long distance away, but the manager
and her team keep us well informed of all important events relating both to Mums personally and to The Farmhouse generally. The worrying risks around Covid-19 have been managed extremely well and, in our experience, I doubt the residents could be in safer hands anywhere. The home itself is functional, as opposed to luxurious and has very few en-suite rooms, which is the only aspect of The Farmhouse I could criticise. However, Mum’s room is light, spacious, homely and perfectly pleasant with a great view and, like the whole building, is kept very clean and well-maintained. As far as we are concerned, the very high care standards provided are the key, and The Farmhouse excels in this regard.

Reply from Tammy Shepherd, Manager at The Farmhouse Residential Home

I would like to take the time to thank you for leaving such a positive and heartfelt review. Rest assured, we will continue to deliver a high standard of quality of care and effective communication at all times. I have taken on board your comments regarding the number of en-suites that the home currently has and would like to reassure you that there are plans in place to increase this number and that an additional one is almost complete.

If you could pick a residential home for 100% care, the safety of staff and residents. I would also add the immediate reaction for ever-changing COVID instructions, I would certainly highly recommend The Farmhouse. The manager and the staff are so dedicated. They looked after my Aunt so well.
