Fully refurbished in 2007, the home features state-of-the-art kitchens, laundry facilities, a spacious dining room, and stylish lounges. In addition to the comfortable private rooms, residents can enjoy a large, well-appointed communal lounge with an adjoining conservatory, perfect for relaxation, as well as a cozy dining room ideal for shared meals.

The home offers a variety of accommodation options, including 18 en-suite rooms, 4 double rooms, and 24 single rooms, all designed for comfort and privacy. With multiple bathrooms and toilets on every floor, convenience is key. Residents are encouraged to bring their personal belongings, creating a homely and familiar atmosphere in their new space.

Beyond the rooms, Footherley Hall boasts extensive grounds, featuring scenic pathways, peaceful benches, and a tranquil natural pond filled with fish and water features. Simply put they have been amazing. My mum was in another very swanky care home where she was bedbound and I was told that she would never walk again. As soon as we transferred her to Footherley Hall they had her up in a special chair and immediately set about getting her to first be able to sit, then
stand and now walk. My Mum’s progress there has been nothing short of a miracle. The care, attention and love my Mum receives has to be seen to be appreciated. Every single member of staff knows her name and now that we are allowed to visit, our names. They show wonderful respect to my Mum but they always make her smile and laugh. They have a wonderful and warm caring attitude and nothing is too much trouble. Yes, it isn’t as flash as the previous care home but the extraordinary level of care more than makeup for it. From the manager, the assistant manager, the cleaners and receptionists they are all very special. Each and every one of the lovely carers is a real credit.

Like most people I carried out due diligence on all surrounding care homes, within a 10-mile radius, some newly opened and some well established and choose Footherley Hall and am so happy that I did. My wife became a resident in May 2020. The most difficult period for everybody, because of COVID. It
has proven to be a very wise decision. Even though she had to go through isolation for the first two weeks, I knew from the first day she was in good and caring hands. The management and staff have been outstanding in their care and understanding of her needs. She has settled well, and the facilities such as beautiful gardens and spotless accommodation and a close supporting programme of activities have all contributed to her feeling safe and secure and involved.

Difficult to imagine, my Aunt has been a resident at Footherley Hall for twelve and a half years. From the very beginning, the staff and sisters succeeded in taking the stress away from my husband and I by giving my Aunt the utmost respect and superior quality of care. In the early days - if weather
permitted - she would be found on a bench in the garden reading the newspaper and enjoying the benefit of the lovely grounds which are for all their residents. Throughout the years she has deteriorated, but she has always been given ongoing appropriate care from the lovely carers. I have nothing but praise for everyone she/we have dealt with over the years, especially so since lockdown in March, as the home has gone above and beyond to ensure both residents and staff have been kept safe at all times.

Both of my parents have been in this care home for over two years. The level of care and attention they receive is outstanding. The home is always spotless. There are beautiful gardens which enable them to get about in the fresh air during the warmer months.

The care my mom has received since she arrived at Footherley on 1.10.18 has been second to none. My mom is safe and settled and this is due to the care and understanding she has received. While it took a long time for mom to settle due to her dementia and strong character, the support and understanding
not only to my mom but to us as a family was instrumental to our confidence that we had made the right decision, mom is now content in as a person with mid-stage Alzheimer's can be. The staff are always welcoming and chatty and we have enjoyed getting to know everyone. We are however missing them all currently due to pandemic and can't wait to be able to visit 'indoors.' Obviously, we have not been able to visit at Footherley due to the current pandemic, my initial worry after finding out they had cases of Covid at the beginning of the pandemic. I am now relieved that mom is safe, this is down to the high standards of cleanliness and care and they now do not have any cases.
