Anchor's Maple Tree Court is located in Kidsgrove and provides residential and dementia care for up to 64 older people. Its facilities include a tea room, activities room and a number of cosy, quiet lounges. The home is continuing to welcome new residents.

The home's communal areas are light and spacious and provide a nice environment where residents can relax and socialise. All rooms within the home are single with en-suite wet rooms and underfloor heating as standard.

All meals are freshly cooked within the home from locally sourced ingredients. Maple Tree Court offers a number of activities, such as coffee and cake each week, where the local community is welcome to join residents.

The home has its own hair and beauty salon and outside the home, there are secure landscaped gardens and outdoor seating areas.

An excellent care home. Staff are obviously recruited extremely well, all demonstrating bespoke care for each individual resident. They take the time to get to know their clients + their families. Communication is excellent about all situations + they are pro-active regarding medical needs. The atmosphere
in the home is lovely, food is good, plenty of organised activities. All staff are kind + have endless patience. Highly recommend.

This home is amazing. Loving, caring staff who go above and beyond. Mum moved in July and settled in straight away she loves all the staff who support her in every way. Very welcoming and always on hand to speak to. Highly recommend.

My gran was living here for just over a year before she passed away. The carers had a lovely connection with her. The rooms were always clean and tidy and well looked after. The home itself is spacious and so are the rooms with all ensuite. She was always looked after and supported with her needs. She
never left her room but the staff would always go in and check on her regularly and pour her an Irish cream liqueur at night time. She made friends with the lady next door and would sometimes sit down at the end of the corridor watching the schoolchildren. The staff were brilliant with her right till the end even though she could be" stubborn " they would always try and encourage her to get up and dressed and join in. Would recommend most defiantly

My Dad moved into Maple Tree in March and remained there until his death in October. During this time he was cared for with dignity, respect, and attention. We were kept updated on his welfare and as a family welcomed any time. Towards the end, the staff were extremely mindful to ensure that Dad did
not suffer and supported us in every way. The staff was caring, kind, thoughtful, and professional. Thank you for everything you do and did for Dad. We would highly recommend Maple Tree to others.

The carer the staff provide is fantastic they are very caring and Mum's care is person-centred.
The staff have time to discuss things with you and never have the feeling that they don't have time.
There always appears to be enough staff on shift.
The staff remember who you are and always makes you
feel welcome.
I would highly recommend this care home as the care our mum is receiving from the dedicated staff is second to none.
We have our mum back when not all that long ago we didn't think she would last the day, but thanks to the staff and their perseverance they have nursed our mum back to health.

Approximately 4 weeks ago, my husband was discharged back to residential care home having been treated for infection. I cannot put into words how well all the staff have cared and looked after him. Also, been very caring yet professional to me. The manager leads by example and she has a wonderful team

Father was made welcome and seems content after being at Maple Tree over 12 months. Dietary needs well supported. Also care when required to dress/undress but on the whole Dad enjoys his independence. When he feels able, would like to see Dad get more involved with activities, he enjoys a quiz plus
outside entertainment which could be more during the week. Dad would like a better smoking area.

My mum has advanced vascular/Alzheimer's dementia, so does not partake in activities but the staff are very kind and she feels comfortable and safe there. She is able to have her hair done and staff paint the ladies' nails which is a morale booster. It is also nice to sit in the garden with her. I am

My mum has been a resident for over 3 years and since arriving she improved so much in her physical and mental health. The staff who cared for her actually became friends, they respected her, she trusted them and she felt safe. They got to know her on a deeper level so they fully understood her personal
needs and her likes and dislikes. Her room was always clean and comfortable and she also made friends with other residents. The staff should be recognised for the excellent care and support they give not only to my mum, but to me and my wife. They are always available for any questions or concerns to be answered and this has been invaluable at more challenging times with my mum's health.

My friend has been a resident at Maple Tree Court from October last year. I visit once a week and during that time have found the staff to be extremely caring and everyone knew her name from day one. Everyone seems happy and the atmosphere is one of positivity. All areas are clean and certainly well-kept.
My friend is very happy to live there and is involved in all the numerous activities.

Excellent overall. The staff are friendly and helpful with a welcoming atmosphere and professional approach. One criticism would be is that the interior of the building is beginning to look a bit tired, carpets, decorating, furniture in day rooms etc.

My Mum is safe, happy and very well looked after by the staff at Maple Tree. We couldn't be more pleased with the standard of care.
