Myself and my family are very happy with the care that my grandma has received since staying at Hillswood Lodge. The staff are really helpful, friendly and accommodating and the place itself has a very good relationship with my grandma and indeed many go the extra mile to have a laugh and a joke with
her. The food is also fantastic.

We found the care offered to our aunt during her stay was exemplary and the attitude of the staff who looked after her needs was excellent throughout. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant at all times. The residents found great enjoyment in the activities. They were well fed and promptly attended
to when they had any needs.

My mother has been a resident at Hillswood for approximately 15 months and the care that she has always received has been excellent. The staff are always friendly and attentive with residents and visitors alike. There is a lovely homely feel, the food is very good and plentiful and everywhere is always
clean and warm. Mum has been very, very happy at Hillswood and I can only praise it very highly.

The care my mum received at Hillswood Lodge was exceptional and I have already successfully recommended it to a friend for his mother. It feels as near to 'home' as is possible. Spending time there with mum was easy. The best thing was that it was for only a few residents and they became familiar
faces over the 3 years Mum was there and the staff were wonderful. On a couple of occasions nurses who was not from the local GP practice came and each of them said how impressed they were with the home. The manager is also exceptional and she supports the residents and her staff unfailingly. In addition the local GP practice gave excellent support and the home and the GP practice work very well together meeting both routine needs and emergency needs equally well. I can only give praise for the care Mum received at Hillswood Lodge.

My Auntie was a resident at Hillswood Lodge for 2 years, and during that time she was treated with great dignity and the staff always made it feel like home for her.

She was very ill with both vascular dementia, and Alzheimer's disease but her needs were always catered for by the excellent staff

who worked incredibly hard to make her remaining years as happy as possible.

Myself and my family can't thank the manager and her staff enough for the care they gave to my auntie who recently passed away. Her last few years were made so much easier due to the dedication of the staff and the wonderful care she received.

Thank you to all the staff from Auntie D's family, we genuinely appreciate everything you did for her.
