Having never had any personal experience of a care home, I was anxious and worried about what this meant for my relative living in one. I should not have worried as this care home and its staff are remarkable. My mind was soon at rest. It’s plain to see that the staff care about their residents and
their relatives. They appreciate the emotional strain it puts on families and do all they can to ease any worries. The staff endeavour to give each resident what they need and clearly understand the difficulties that each person has. Regular family Zoom meetings with the manager and regularly updated emails keep everyone informed of what is happening particularly during this time with Covid19. This care home has a great team working within it and I am so glad that we chose it for our family member.

Mom has had the best care in Bracebridge Court. She has been here for 16 months and has been very happy during that time. My Dad was admitted to this home recently following fall and he says he is very happy and the food is lovely. He says he has loved being involved in the garden makeover. The staff appear to be very welcoming when we visit, the restrictions are hard but they are doing their best.

Well what can I say about this lovely care home? Staff are absolutely wonderful! So attentive and always have time for residents and their visitors. The management always make time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. They have been extremely diligent during these difficult times. Putting
themselves at risk to care for the residents. Remaining professional and keeping up the high standards they have always had.
The food provided is excellent, especially when your mother is a picky eater. Unless it's cake if course.
I can recommend this care home to anyone, especially if you have any concerns about making the decision for a loved one. They give each and every resident the respect and dignity they deserve.

My mom had been living in Bracebridge for over five years and in that time she has had fantastic care. It was hard to put Mom into care but we definitely know it was the right decision and Mom was very happy. All staff are very caring, approachable, professional and always did their best, especially
with recent events in very difficult circumstances. The manager is very friendly and approachable and always kept us up to date with Mom's care.
The home itself is lovely and well kept, rooms comfortable and cosy. The garden is full of plants and flowers and somewhere to sit in lovely surroundings. There are always activities going on and events.
A special thank you must go to four members of staff who have been through Mom's journey with her.

I dreaded my mum going into a care home after viewing so many dreadful places. Luckily a friend mentioned Bracebridge Court and the minute I met with the manager and had a tour I knew it was the right place for Mum. The rest of my family were in agreement and more importantly Mum loved it. The staff
are fabulous, very caring, patient and kind. The rooms are lovely and well maintained and the whole place lovely and clean. The food always smells delicious and the communal areas are always welcoming to family and friends.

Bracebridge is a lovely home, they have worked so hard to ensure my mum is settled during this hard time of a pandemic. I speak via Skype and can see how happy she is.
We were able to have a virtual tour before she moved in and the laughter in the background of the tour while we watched was what
made us pick Bracebridge.
I can’t wait to meet the staff properly once we can visit and say thank you.

Mum is receiving excellent care at Bracebridge Court. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient and not only meet mum's needs but always go the extra mile with time for a chat, a kind word or a smile, constantly checking on her physical and mental well-being.
The home is beautifully
clean and decorated and mum's own personal possessions are looked after and her clothes beautifully laundered. She is always well and thoughtfully dressed and treated with such dignity.
The entertainment program is wonderful.
The care she receives couldn't be better.

I moved my mum up from Essex two years ago and it was the hardest decision I’d ever had to make but it was no longer manageable or safe for her to live alone 175 miles from me.
I promised her I’d never put her in a home but until I was faced with the inevitable decision, I never thought I would. The
day I walked into Bracebridge I knew it was to be her home. It is everything I could ever wish for in a home for my mum. The staff are lovely, it’s clean and welcoming and just 10 minutes from me. I’m so glad I took that giant leap of faith and moved her up here as I get to see her. It’s been so difficult during lockdown not being able to visit but it’s absolutely the right thing to do to protect the residents and staff.

I cannot recommend Bracebridge Court highly enough. The fantastic staff have been supportive, caring and always approachable. They have treated Mum with dignity, respect and gentle good humour. The home is clean, bright and has a lovely atmosphere which you feel as soon as you walk through the doors.
One of the best care homes I have ever visited!

My name is Sarah Ford. I have worked at Bracebridge Court for over 36 years, starting as a young carer, progressing over time to senior care, then deputy for 9 years. I have been a Home Manager now for the last three years. I am very dedicated and committed to providing high-quality care for our residents.


I like to share my years of experience with others to enable them to develop into high-quality carers and housekeeping staff.


I enjoy socialising with my family and friends, and in my spare time, I play rounders for the Atherstone lady's team, garden at my allotment, and run.

My name is Elaine. I work alongside Donna as her Lifestyle Coordinator support. I've worked for the company for 8 years, 6 years as a night shift care assistant. After a period of convalescing, I returned to the company as a Lifestyle Coordinator support and have been doing this for 7 months now. My role involves enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
