My friend has recently moved into Bracebridge Court as she was so lonely and anxious living on her own. The carers are great and treat the residents like their own, they are friendly and fun as well as being caring. Right from the manager visiting us as home, to moving in was a nice experience and helped
us to know she had made the right choice to move to a care home.

My father was moved to Bracebridge Court from another Care Home and he seemed to enjoy his time there before he sadly passed away.


The room was clean and the Home had a new and pleasant feel and smell to it.


The only downside that I could see was that the staff seemed to be very stretched. An

example is that I gave my father a framed photo for the wall, but in all the time he was there, it was never put up for him.

Over the couple of years that I have been volunteering at Bracebridge Court I have been impressed by the very high care that is given to the residents. The residents are encouraged to join in the many and varied activities.

We had concerns how Dad would settle with the move from another home to Bracebridge. The move was handled very well. The care and support he received were wonderful. He felt at home there and we were happy to leave him in the care of the home, knowing he was safe. Thank you all.

Bracebridge Court is a very nice care home. It is very clean, modern has lots of facilities and activities. The staff are very friendly and supportive and always treat the residents with the utmost dignity. My mother always appears safe and content. Other residents appear content too! She has only been
here a year and will shortly be moving back to Nuneaton, the only reason being is it's only five minutes away from where I live.

Whenever I visit my gran I am always made to feel welcome. My gran is always clean and well looked after. Her room is clean and has got all the facilities for her needs. My gran always tells me how nice the meals are.

Bracebridge Court offers me everything I need, I use it for respite care and find it pleasing, I am happy and safe. The atmosphere at Bracebridge Court is lovely. The staff relate to me really well, as a carer histrionically myself I can't fault them.

My mother moved into this care home ten weeks ago after a few respite stays. The standard of care on every occasion has been excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. When there's been a problem with my mum's health they are quick to react and keep the family informed
and take really good care of her.

My grandmother and her sister are residents in the home. The staff are lovely and treat residents with respect - as if they are their family. When my nan's sister passed away they cared for her, and us, fantastically - they never left her bedside, everything was logged as it should be, even the district
nurses said how much the home and it's staff were the best in the area.
Knowing they treat the residents very well is a weight off our minds, nothing is too much trouble. The care and support they gave to the wider family when my aunt passed away was an enormous help - it made an upsetting time more bearable. My nan is happy at Bracebridge. The manager is fantastic and interacts with all residents and families. In short - this is a brilliant home with fabulous staff.

My name is Sarah Ford. I have worked at Bracebridge Court for over 36 years, starting as a young carer, progressing over time to senior care, then deputy for 9 years. I have been a Home Manager now for the last three years. I am very dedicated and committed to providing high-quality care for our residents.


I like to share my years of experience with others to enable them to develop into high-quality carers and housekeeping staff.


I enjoy socialising with my family and friends, and in my spare time, I play rounders for the Atherstone lady's team, garden at my allotment, and run.

I do additional roles at Bracebridge Court, as Care Team Leader on weekends. I also do banking during the week. I have been doing this position for 4 years. I have a passion for caregiving, and I enjoy my job role.


I find it rewarding to see the resident's smiles, and I'm deeply committed to Bracebridge Court. When I am not working, I like to socialise with my family and friends.
