Visitors welcome at Dewar Close at any time. WCS Care also has a relatives' gateway which relatives can use to view care notes online and share pictures and messages with loved one (with appropriate consents in place).

I've been with WCS Care since 2014, starting my journey here as a carer at Drovers House in Rugby before progressing my management career.
I believe that maintaining a positive mindset can help any day be better. I love making meaningful connections with residents, hearing their fascinating stories and understanding how I can make their day better.
Job Title: Deputy Home Manager
I’ve been at WCS Care for over a year since re-joining and have worked in the care industry for more than 25 years in a variety of roles. I’ve worked in both day and night care, senior care, and care team management and am now the Deputy Home Manager at Dewar Close.
I really enjoy coming to work every day and making a difference in the lives of our residents and the people we work with, by mentoring and guiding my team to be the best they can be.
I have seen how far I’ve come in my career from my peers mentoring and believing in me – it’s the same positive impact that I want to have on others as a leader.
Outside of work, I love going back home to Brighton to see family or simply go to the beach. I’m also really into D.I.Y. work and spending time with my three dogs!
