My mom went into Meadow View for a week's respite but unfortunately declined due to her dementia and had to stay as a resident. I cannot praise the manager and staff enough for making her last couple of months comfortable and she was looked after and cared for so well.

My partner has to be admitted to Meadow View due to dementia. I found the staff extremely helpful and understanding. The rooms are clean and the care given is excellent.

After a very long time spent in hospital and COVID, my mother's health deteriorated terribly and it was realised my mother wouldn't enjoy the rest of her life - until we moved her to Meadow View. It feels like the most amazing gift to now see my mother living a semi-independant life, to see her happy
and engaging and it's all down to the staff. The team are outstanding in every way. Not only have they made my mother settle in, my sister and daughter feel so welcome. Nothing is too much. My mother is now enjoying her life with the beat team.

Our mum is now the longest resident that Meadow View have had (8 years) and my family and I are absolutely convinced that this is because of the most amazing care and compassion that she receives on a daily basis
We cannot thank the manager and her team enough for all that they have done and are still
doing for Mum during the different stages of dementia.
We have total peace of mind knowing Mum is safe and being looked after so well and the manager and her team now feel like family to us all.
If you do have an opportunity to have a loved one cared for in this home, you will certainly feel the same I'm sure.

The care given to my late father was exceptional. At all times he was treated with the utmost patience, dignity and respect. Communication from the manager and her team was fantastic. We always knew that Dad was safe and well cared for. We can't thank them enough.

Moving my mother with dementia from her independent life into a care home could have been difficult - it was not. All the fabulous carers at Meadow View have been so welcoming, They have brought humour and patience into all the right places. Daft questions and concerns spoken have been answered quickly
and thoroughly, my mother's natural routines monitored and respected, new challenges encouraged with time and tenderness.
My mother's room and freedom to surround herself with all her favourite things is wonderful and cleaned (along with her laundry) every day. The good food has helped her enjoy putting on just a few much-needed pounds and her patio garden has become a delightful hobby along with new friendships forming.
On top of all that Alcaster is a lovely place for a short day out to celebrate all this. We will be forever grateful as my mother is a happy settled lady already.

I was delighted to see my aunt receiving such excellent care. She is very happy at Meadow View and is treated with warmth, respect and dignity by the manager and all the staff I met while visiting her. This is a very welcoming, well-organised and happy home which maximises client choice.

I was very reluctant to place my mum in a care home, but for her own well being and safety it became necessary. I definitely chose the right home. It is extremely well run by the manager and wonderful staff. So caring, so respectful of residents and so good at communication. Fun too. Mum is very happy
and so am I.

My mum has been at Meadow View for six months, and during this time, I have seen a huge improvement in her health and well-being. She feels happy, safe and secure and has made new friends. My mum is joining in with the activities, and I love to see her dancing in the videos that the managers send to
my family. The manager and staff here and wonderful, and I leave the home knowing my mum is well taken care of and happy!

My mum has been a resident for 6 months and describes Meadow View as home and settled within a few weeks, thanks to the manager and staff. I am a regular weekly visitor to the home. During the pandemic, I have visited via window, pod, rooms and garden as lockdown has improved. Mum is happy and well
cared for. Lastly, the manager, admin and caring staff are very helpful and friendly.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the conduct and attitude of the staff in relation to the COVID pandemic and for also being on the ball with PPE and the testing of visitors.
I had a lovely visit with my friend. All made possible by the care and devotion of all the staff at Meadow View

I have been at Meadow View for the last two years. While here I have found the staff to be wonderful. They look after me very well and treat me with dignity. I have my own room with very good facilities, including a wet room.
On the 2nd April, I celebrated my 100th birthday with family and staff. The
staff made a great job in making my day special, been putting my story in the local paper. I cannot thank them enough for what they do for me.

I have visited my sister for the first time for many months, due to COVID19, today in the pod. I was very impressed with the setup. It was comfortable for my sister and me. The microphone worked well my sister could hear and understand every word. The pod was livened up with flowers and posters. The
member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. PPE was supplied for our safety.

The home is a calm haven, well run and friendly. All the rooms are ensuite which is a bonus. The staff have coped with all the difficulties of Covid over the past year with great efficiency and competence.

My mum is at end of life. throughout her 3 and a half years here, she has been consistently treated with dignity, respect, kindness and good humour. This has enabled Mum to think of Meadow View as home as she's been very happy here. Since Mum became end of life, the staff have been amazing. I will eternally

I cannot rate the manager and the staff at Meadow View highly enough.
The dedication they show to my mum and the other residents is humbling and I am always impressed by the respect and dignity shown to those in their care, many of whom have very challenging needs and advanced dementia.
I cannot
imagine my mum receiving better treatment anywhere else and am so thankful that Meadow View exists.
