Park View is a 64-bed care home situated in Warwick. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.

Park View strives to create a homely environment and provide all the comforts of good food, good company and friendly staff, in a calm and restful atmosphere. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, with en-suite toilet facilities. The home also has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounges in which residents can relax. In addition, there is a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those cared for to maintain their independence in a safe environment.

The activities coordinator works closely with residents and families to ensure the activities are meaningful and based on residents' interests. Activities include, motivation 2 music, art therapy, crafts club, bingo, quizzes, trips out, regular entertainment, hair and nail salon and pets as therapy.

Park View have community links with the local college, schools, churches, mobile library support services and hold a monthly Memory Lane Café to offer support and advice to those living with dementia.

First impressions are great! Friendly atmosphere, happy faces. My mother really enjoys having respite here and has been three times now and has no complaints. She says how she loves the staff, and they all treat her with lots of care and attention and looking forward to her next visit.

Lovely care home.
My stepdad is very happy here. He is well looked after by the carers and the manager runs the home very well. Much better than any managers that have been there over the last 5 years.

Although my mother was only in residence for a short period before she passed away, she experienced high-quality care from all the staff involved.
The manager was always available to discuss details of her support needs and was always ready to try to meet her requirements.
The home is very clean and
tidy, with a friendly and helpful atmosphere throughout and is a welcoming environment for those needing care. I would recommend it to others seeking care for their loved ones.

My mother has dementia and has resided in Park View for the last 3 years. The manager's office door is always open to answer any concerns or questions. We have found Park View for the last 3 years to be of a high standard of care. The cleanliness and interior decor is 1st class. All the staff are exceptional
very caring and professional and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this care home as it ticks all the boxes of excellence.

My mother spent the last twelve months of her life here. She was well cared for. She was always clean (as is Park View) and comfortable and really enjoyed her food. We were always kept well informed if Mum was ever poorly.
She recently celebrated her 100th birthday and we had a party for her at Park
View.
She passed away peacefully in Park View and the staff, plus the local community nurses, GP surgery were all so kind and supportive to Mum and her family and friends.

My sister has been a resident at Park View for 18 months. The staff here are friendly, caring and welcoming and I particularly appreciate the fact that I can visit without a prior appointment.
When I was recently unable to take my sister to a medical appointment, she was accompanied by a carer who
knew her well which was important to her. When I saw my sister today she had just enjoyed a visit from local school pupils who had chatted with her in her room. Staff are aware of my sister’s difficulties and are considerate of her needs. She often needs encouragement to join in activities and I commend the staff for their patience, sensitivity and good humour.

My mum was diagnosed with dementia and has been there since February 2023 and has been quite challenging at times.
The manager's office door is always open and management has always been there to answer any concerns that I may have.
My mum is generally happy and just wants someone to talk to, so
I try to visit most days therefore I feel that I have a good overview of the floor that my mum is on.
The cleanliness is first class even the cleaning staff interact with the residents, the food is good and my mum seems to enjoy her meals.
I took time to choose a care home for my mum, as I have looked after her for 5 years myself and I know her needs. I feel that Park View are like our extended family, all the day staff are lovely, caring and happy to fulfil request whenever possible for example food likes and dislikes, coffee, tea, milkshakes and juice are served throughout the day.
Mum's room is spacious and very clean she has her own TV and bathroom.

This is a brilliant care home, my mother has resided in Park View for two and a half years. Care is second to none, staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them, always pleasant and very caring. All staff deserve commendations for the care they provided to all residents.

Since Mum moved to the home last September, she is finally settling in and moving out of her room to play bingo. Staff are always very friendly and respectful and ready to answer questions and help if they can and we know she is much safer than she was living on her own with dementia and Alzheimer's.

When she entered Park View the light had gone out of her eyes and she was confused and agitated. After one month in residence, her old spark and personality has returned and she is no longer confused. In her words.. 'if you have to leave your own home ... this is the place to come!'

My auntie moved into Park View in December 2022 and loves it.
The staff are all friendly, and take time to make sure her needs are met.
My auntie lived alone before moving into here and didn't really see anyone, so enjoys the interaction.
The home provides activities to do, and the coordinator is
always bubbly and bouncing about, which my auntie thinks is funny. The carers go above and beyond and always say hello, and ask her if everything is ok when passing her room.
According to my auntie, the meals are lovely.
Her room is quite large, comfortable, warm and always clean.

I highly recommend this care home!
From the day my 94-year-old mom entered this home in June 2022, she and I were greeted by all the staff and made to feel most welcome.
This gave my mom and me great comfort and reassurance. Within a day all her clothes were clearly labelled with her name and hung
in the wardrobe.
The room was re-arranged to accommodate my mom's furniture and pictures hung on the walls to make her room feel homely.
Even though she has had a couple of falls, it was no fault of the staff and they quickly put measures in place to prevent it from happening again. The staff are all so kind to my mom and family. My mom is very happy here.
I have worked in care myself and my dad had to stay in 2 and Park View is by far superior to them. They treat my mom and family with dignity and respect and the staff always smiles and talk to you when you visit.
The CQC rating should be outstanding!

Mum went into care home for the last months of her long life. She was treated with respect and care. Her dry sense of humour continued to shine and surprise. full of admiration for the care shown to Mum and the family when visiting. Staff always ready to listen, advise and liaise when the occasion demanded.
Both mum and the family were appreciative for all that was done both in care and support. It was apparent that Mum's final months were dignified and as comfortable as the staff could make them.

My mother was a resident of Park View for many years. Sadly she died at the beginning of November. She was really happy there, and I always felt she was so well cared for. The home is nice, lots of space and is very safe for the residents. The staff are great, caring and helpful. I would recommend,
without hesitation, the care of a family member should it arise. Well-run and nice to visit. Thank you to everyone.

Our Aunt Edith Gore sadly passed away on the 10th August 2021. She had been a resident at Parkview for the last 6 years. She was blind, hard of hearing, and immobile for the majority of the time. All the time she was there she was given the most amazing care. All the staff were lovely. She was always
clean and her laundry was always kept immaculate. The food was good and always nicely presented. Her room was smart and kept to a high standard. Sadly through Covid we were unable to visit but we were kept up to date at all times and had no worries as to her care. When we were able to visit we were always treated politely in a friendly manner. Edith was happy there and considered it her home, and we were pleased that her end of life care was there. We cannot thank all the staff there enough and would recommend the home to anyone.

I have developed my career within the company to seek more experience and worked in different homes. I’ve gained vast experience of working in Health and Social care and awareness of CQC Expectations. I have NVQ 5 in Health and social care management and am a Qualified Moving and Handling Trainer. I joined Park View in March 2023, and have made a lot of positive changes around the home. My team and I strive to ensure Park View always provide excellent care to the highest standards. One of my proudest achievements is being part of the world record-breaking event for the world’s oldest choir, a Guinness World Record! While I love to sing (even if I’m not the best at it), I know it brings joy to others. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, walking the dogs, and painting.

Hi, I'm Sheila, the Home Administrator at Park View. I've been with the team for 7 years, and I truly love the variety of work I get to do here. Every day brings something new, and I enjoy working with both the staff and residents. No two days are ever the same—each one unfolds with its own surprises. What I find most rewarding is seeing how much of a difference we make in the residents' lives. Whether it's a smile, a chat, or just spending time together, it’s those moments of appreciation that make it all worth it. Their joy puts a smile on my face too.


I'm proud to have been recognised as Staff Member of the Month, which was such an honour. Outside of work, I’m a self-proclaimed “workaholic!” I even climbed the Three Peaks for the residents’ fund and raised over £1,200. When I’m not walking, I love spending time with my grandchildren, reading, or working on a jigsaw puzzle—though I never seem to have enough time for that!


Every day at Park View is an opportunity to make a positive impact, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
