My sister is cared for in an atmosphere which supports her very complex needs. She is always clean and tidy. Her family are able to take part in her care reviews. Staff are welcoming and friendly but so seem to change quite often. We would not want her to be anywhere else as she is very settled and
calm.

My mum has Alzheimers Disease and has been cared for at Sebright House since February 2019. For me, the outstanding feature of Sebright House is the excellent quality of the care provided by all the staff. The manager, nurses, care assistants and ancillary staff all treat my mum with great kindness,
patience and dignity. They communicate with us, as a family, about any issues arising from mum's illness and I feel there is a culture of openness about keeping us informed. I live a 2-hour drive away from Sebright House and it gives me great comfort to know that my mum is cared for by such dedicated people.

Sebright House is wonderful. My husband was admitted in February from another care home sadly badly neglected. Within three days, he looked like a different person, beautifully clean, hair cut, shaven and most of all, toenails attended to. I couldn’t believe the change. Him being in Sebright House has
allowed me to get some form of life back, I have so much confidence about his care, not only personal care but he now responds socially and is happy. He is treated with great respect, I feel he has gained back some dignity. I can’t praise Sebright House high enough. All the staff are so caring from the manager (who always makes her presence felt) to the laundry and cleaning staff.

My dad passed away here last Saturday and was cared for right up to the end. This is without a doubt the best care home I have ever experienced in terms of the treatment and empathic care he received here. I have visited several care homes over the years and Sebright House stands way above others on
all levels. We always felt safe in the knowledge that he was being treated with dignity, respect and genuine care. The staff were always helpful, kind and attentive and communicated with us whenever we had concerns. For those of you reading this because you have these dreadful decisions to make about your loved ones, please be assured that we could not have had my dad living in a better place when we could no longer cope with his needs at home. I have nothing but admiration for the people at Sebright who looked after my dad so well. Thank you all.

My cousin was suffering from dementia and the carers were very understanding. In recent years the care home has improved the way in which it looks after the residents. The various rooms felt much more peaceful and calmer than in the past. We noticed that the new managers are properly trained in modern
care methods and we were a lot happier with the philosophy of the home. Previously it had seemed a bit haphazard.

My brother has received excellent care from the members of the staff. They have done all they can to try and meet his particular needs. He had difficulty in standing up without assistance when he arrived and 7 weeks later he is now able to stand up on his own and walk with a frame to the bathroom with
someone supervising.

My mother and I are always grateful for the care which my sister receives. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and often engage with my sister.
We are pleased that the issues identified in the CQC inspection earlier this year are being addressed by the new manager; the overall appearance and decorative

The staff are very helpful. My mum is not mobile and does not know who I am on most days but the staff at Sebright always try and include her in the activities. I am very happy with how she is being looked after at Sebright House.

The staff all provide brilliant care for my mother, I am aware that she can be quite challenging but they are always loving and caring. They are attentive at all times and really spend time with her as she can become quite distressed. I have no hesitation in recommending the home to other families.

Sebright nursing home provides an ideal care setting for my Dad. It meets his challenging needs perfectly. The staff are extremely caring and understand his personality very well. I have to say I don't worry about my Dad at all or the care he receives and that is a comfort to me and my Dads family.
The staff provide a loving environment for all the patients and do their best to provide activities and stimulation. I would recommend Sebright to prospective families.

I have found the carers at the home to be very friendly and extremely helpful and patient whilst caring for my husband. I realize my husband can be quite challenging to deal with at times and I feel the care he receives is very good.
