The Stables is a luxury residential care home, absolutely excellent and very professional, with lovely staff. I highly recommend this home from home. Nothing is too much trouble, just ask. I find it so welcoming, an absolute pleasure to visit. I feel that the residents who live here, are really well
cared for in a very homely environment.

A very friendly and welcoming home for our dad. He has lived here for 7-years, and it is best described as "home from home". All the staff are so caring and make us feel welcome every time we visit. Can highly recommend it as an excellent care home. All the residents seem very happy and well looked

My mother moved care homes on Christmas Eve. The staff at The stables went out of their way to make this possible for us, and we all referred to it as a Christmas miracle. On arrival, my mother was depressed, scared and not eating, withing a week, her depression had lifted and she has started eating
again. Mum has nothing but praise for all the staff and has on many occasions told me that it is like living in a 5-star hotel and that the food, care, staff and attention to detail provided is amazing. If you are lucky enough to be offered a place at The Stables, take it without hesitation.

My dear, late mother was a resident at The Stables care home for 2 and a half years until she passed away last month. The kindness, care and compassion shown to my Mum (and also to me) has been exceptional and I cannot find adequate words to praise and thank the management and every member of staff.
They have created a 'family' environment and the level of care and genuine love my dear Mum received is something I will be forever grateful for.

My wife and I were very impressed with the care my mother received when she contracted Covid-19 in late November. The manager was wonderful at keeping me and my family fully updated on a daily basis, caring for her every need, which when you live 235 miles away, is so very reassuring. The staff are
always caring and professional; this shows with how the home is ran. She could not have been in a better place during this awful time.

The Stables at Hartshill is very much a home from home, with only seven residents, each receives an unusual amount of personal attention, which larger care homes cannot offer. The staff are all friendly and considerate to the needs of residents who are treated like family. They are also kept in the
picture.

The care and detail my Mother receives is above and beyond, the residents are treated by as if they were caring for their loved ones. The atmosphere is always happy when I visit my Mum regularly and I feel happy in the knowledge that my Mum is in a safe and loving home. The attention given is consistent
in all areas, the menu is thoughtfully prepared to ensure residents have a good diet. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and the surroundings are very comfortable and homely. This home is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone.

My relative has been cared for at The Stables for over ten years and we are very pleased with the level of care provided. The small numbers gives The Stables a very family friendly atmosphere and individual attention. The Stables always smells clean and well cared for. The staff respect residents and
are welcoming to visitors. The staff also work very hard and we sometimes wish there were more staff to provide more activities above basic care.

I love going into this care setting. The staff are friendly and very welcoming no matter what time of the day. They really make time for their residents and all of the care is so personalised its lovely. Its great that the Owner/manager gets involved in the care at the home as this is a rarity. All
of the residents are always happy and settled and even on bad days the staff take time out to reassure the residents and make them feel happier. What is also a really nice thing to see is that the staff including the manager and deputy come in on their days off to visit the residents I think that is so lovely. They ensure all food tastes are catered for and even special diets. All of the staff are qualified or working towards qualifications and the manager/deputy are really supportive with regards to training that's in place. Fantastic place and I would recommend to anyone.

Catherine

Catherine Arnold

Job Title: Owner

Joined: 2004

Catherine Arnold started her career working as a nurse in 1972, with an immediate love for the job and natural care for her patients she always wanted her own Care Home so she could look after people. In 2004 Catherine had a purpose built 3 bed Home built and it was named The Stables. In 2008 with a Big waiting list she decided to extend the property into a 7 Bedroom Care Home that we have today. Catherine is a very hands on owner with a can do attitude who works close with her son Jamie Arnold who runs the financial side of the Business along with Nicola Russell who is the Care Home Manager. At The Stables we are like one Big family and we take great pleasure in giving the best care we can for our Residents. All staff have this great attitude and dedication for the job.

Job Title: Co owner

Joined: 2019

Jamie is a Co-Owner at The Stables Care Home, having spent 15 years in the motor trade Jamie decided he wanted to take a different adventure in his life and he wanted to join the family business. Bringing a wide range of experience, he's brought his knowledge from his previous job to organise some fantastic events for the Residents, staff and the community, such as the Seaside day event and Elf day where we raised money for Charity. Jamie oversees the Business side of the home and is always here for the staff and Residents.

Joined: 2007

Nicola joined The Stables Care Home in 2007. Nicola fitted in straight away at The Stables and loved the family-feel atmosphere that The Stables is all about. Through hard work and recognition she progressed into becoming deputy manager. Nicola worked very hard to pass her NVQ Level 5 and in April 2019 was promoted to Care Home Manager. Nicola looks after the day to day running of the care side of the home and is very passionate about The Stables. Nicola loves the fact that at The Stables we are one BIG FAMILY.
