Really pleased with every aspect of the Hazeldene House looked after and cared for my father and met all his needs. Staff friendly and caring. Made him feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend the home and hope they carry on the good work.

My experience has been nothing but positive. From management to carers; they treat Mum with great respect and dignity. The carers are absolutely lovely with Mum, got nothing but praise for the place.

Mum was in Hazledene and was very happy and was cared for extremely well, the management and staff are caring and approachable and never compromise on care, the food is excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend Hazeldene house to anyone.

My mum was admitted to Hazeldene after a fall and hospital visit on respite, it was decided it was in Mum's best interest she stayed here. Mum settled in soon enough and was always treated with dignity and respect and a person-centred approach. Mum had her end of life in Hazeldene of which the end of
life care was compassionate and perfect care in every way. Mum was kept clean and comfortable and had the best care possible, the curtains/bedding and room were all changed/cleaned for Mum's return from hospital.
My only negative point is not one member of staff attended Mum's funeral or wake, despite my making them well aware of the timings. I thought at least somebody would have attended to represent Hazeldene.
But overall Hazeldene provides the best care and the staff are all very knowledgeable and genuinely caring people towards the clients' welfare and wellbeing.
Thank you Hazeldene for making my mum's stay the best possible and the end of life also the best possible care.

Thank you for your review. Your mother was a lovely lady and we are pleased to have got to know her and care for her. I can only apologise whole-heartedly that on this occasion it is unfortunate that no staff were able to attend the funeral. We always strive to have someone representing the care home as a mark of respect, however there are occasions when scheduling appropriate staffing levels mean we do not have anyone available. Please accept my sincerest apologies. Best regards.

As a family of a service user, we cannot begin to say how wonderful all the staff are to our Mom. Hazeldene is a warm loving place were staff work very hard to maintain very good care to clients and to also support family who rely on the home to keep their loved ones safe.
