Visitors are welcome to Long Meadow at any time. The home do ask that you respect their protected meal times unless you choose to dine with your loved one.
Parking facilities available onsite at Long Meadow and plenty of parking in Matlock also.

I am sorry to hear that you feel you have had this experience with us at Longmeadow. As families, residents and staff are aware I have an open-door policy here at Longmeadow and am always available to talk to everyone who accesses the service. I would like to invite you to a review meeting with myself at a time to suit you, to discuss any issues that you may have at the moment so that we may have a chance to put things right and improve the service that you feel we provide to you and your husband. As a residential home we have a capacity of 41 service users and in terms of staffing we are staffed between 6 to 7 members of care staff during the daytime and 4 to 5 members of staff during the night, dependant on individual dependency needs which is regularly reviewed each month or if needs change before this time. Please continue to attend the residents and relatives meetings which we hold bi-monthly. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
