My father-in-law is a resident at Willow Bank and has been for six months now. The staff are incredible - they are always looking out for him and his needs, from the music he listens to that's his favourite, to the morning bacon sandwich that he likes! They are so attentive and I couldn't wish for him
to be looked after anywhere else. The activities are daily and all the residents take part. Christmas time is always special and local children come in to sing carols, in fact, music and singing are very popular for the residents and I know my father-in-law enjoys it. I couldn't recommend Willow Bank highly enough to anyone that needs a care home for a loved one.

My mother-in-law who I am also Limited Power Of Attorney as we are very close, was first admitted to Willowbank when my father-in-law was admitted to hospital with Covid. My mother-in-law at that time already had dementia and needed 24-hour care which she was receiving at home with her husband's carers
and family. This was a sudden incident and the whole process was upsetting and daunting and at that time Covid restrictions were still in place. The staff and managers made the whole process as pleasant as the situation could allow. It's like a home from home and I've since then felt supported and kept up to date and with a small home with long-serving staff it feels more like leaving her with another family.

My mother lived at Willow Bank for about six months and I was very happy with the home. The staff are without exception friendly and helpful and I could tell they genuinely enjoyed their work and wanted to do the best that they could for Mum. The home is quite small which means that the staff get to
know each resident personally. I was never able to enter the main part of the home due to Covid restrictions, however, the visiting area and garden were well maintained and clean. I know Mum enjoyed the food at Willow Bank and the staff baked a special cake for Mum's birthday which went down very well. Although visiting hours were restricted, again due to Covid, there was rarely any problem getting to see Mum at a convenient time. The staff were also very helpful in taking Mum to medical appointments outside the home and were accommodating when we collected her for day trips and visits to my house. I warmly recommend Willow Bank to anyone looking for a friendly, well-run care home in the area.

Small very homely care home, but with enough space to find a quiet area.
Individual needs catered for, dignity and respect for the individuals maintained within a caring and jolly atmosphere.
All staff appear to enjoy their working environment which is a bonus.
