Cedar House provides high-quality residential care for older people, with a truly committed team of staff dedicated to ensure the needs of each resident are met and they can live a comfortable, fulfilling and enjoyable life.

With two dining rooms, two sitting rooms, a snug, a reception and a cafe to choose from, residents can easily find their own social circle within a group of like-minded friends. There is a range of lounges and living spaces available for small group activities to be carried out and each bedroom has en-suite facilities so the privacy and dignity of each resident is maintained.

Outside there are delightful gardens and two warm, south-facing courtyards that are cosy and tranquil sun traps in the summer. The doors are always open so residents can come and go as they please.

A multi-range of activities form the basis of the vibrant and rewarding daily experiences residents enjoy.

I feel very satisfied with the care I receive for my needs. Everyone is friendly and attentive to my requests. The meals are lovely. I am always warm. I feel the staff have got to know me - the things I like and don't like! All round very satisfied.

My aunt has been a resident at Cedar House for just over a year. She has settled well, leaving her own home and independence was very difficult but the safety and comfort she feels here made the transition very much easier than we had thought it would be. There is plenty of activity and friendliness
at all time. I feel my aunt is content and well cared for.

The care home is excellent in its layout and has all the amenities some could need in the later part of life. I think Cedar House Care Home is the best in the area. We visited 7 other homes when my mother decided to go into respite care in February 2016 (she then decided to stay permanently) and this home was by far the best. The staff are caring, attentive and treat the residents with respect, taking into
account their individual needs.


Someone is always available if I have any queries or concerns. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They provide lots of activities for the residents to take part in and the gardens are kept beautifully for the people to walk around and sit in.
