Framland Residential Home is a 30-room residency based in Melton Mowbray, that offers a skilled elderly care service as well as extending its expertise to look after that of mental health and dementia sufferers.

Framland is a beautiful Victorian-era building within an established residential area. The property has spacious, well-lit single bedrooms which are fully furbished, with the majority also having private en-suite facilities.

Residents have three lounges and a spacious dining room to choose from when socialising, whilst being situated close to local amenities.

Framland's staff take the concerns of occupants and that of their loved ones very seriously, looking to work with service users in order to maintain care packages that are appropriate to them.

I am a friend of a resident who has been in Framland for just over a year following a period in hospital and required nursing care whilst being assessed and considered capable of being independent in her own home. Sadly this was not the case and is now residing in Framland Residential Home as a permanent
resident. Whilst initially having difficulties with the council regarding assessment, Framland Care Home were excellent in the care and welfare of her and would certainly recommend them.

We've searched for a suitable care home for my mother who has mild dementia. This home has proved to be ideal and the home did have a reassuring atmosphere when we had our first visit. We have found the staff caring and helpful.
I have no trouble getting to see my mother virtually every day.
Happy
to say mum seems settled and content which is a big plus.

Mum has been with Framland for the last 7 months after living a very active and independent life. I was worried and concerned about whether she would be able to settle here.
I don't worry anymore; the staff have done and continue to do an amazing job. Mum is very happy and I know she is safe and well
cared for.
Thank you.

My 87-year-old mother moved into Framland Residential Home as she couldn't cope at home anymore. During her life at Framland (during the pandemic) she had various health challenges and visits to the hospital. My brother and I can say all the staff were fantastic in the care and consideration of our
mother. They all took an interest in her well-being. I believe the night staff on one occasion probably saved her life when spotting a high temperature.

Framland was home to my dad David for 22 months. He was so well looked after by all the staff. Dad was always laughing with the staff and seemed genuinely contented at Framland. Can't thank them enough for their care.

Overall Framland is a brilliant care home. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, lovely food and an all-round lovely home for residents. The garden is also a lovely place for residents to be able to relax and enjoy the outdoors, when they can.

Framland have been caring for my relative for over 3 years now. The exceptional manager and his great team endeavour to provide a homely and comfortable atmosphere in bright surroundings. They treat my relative as an individual, showing great patience and understanding. She has made good friends at
Framland. I live a long way away, but throughout lockdown, I have been able to contact them and send messages. Until lockdown, when we visited we were made to feel so welcome, and part of the Framland family. I really miss seeing everyone and can't thank the manager and the staff enough for their hard work. The home always seems warm and clean, and the food excellent. The chef makes brilliant birthday cakes which look tailored to the individual concerned. The staff retain a lovely sense of humour, even when things are very difficult. We really look forward to lockdown lifting and being able to thank everyone in person.

Framland provided excellent care for my mother during her stay, and before she passed away. I found them to always be kind, respectful and helpful at all times. I and my family are extremely grateful for the opportunity they gave us to spend time with her during the lockdown and in her final days.

Framland have cared for my Dad for 2 years now and I am so grateful for the care he received. All of the staff are so kind and caring and we have built up a really good relationship with the home. Dad is happy and settled there and wants for nothing. We are able to call him as we can’t currently visit
and this is never a problem for the staff. We are that happy with Framland we are currently trying to move my Aunt here as well. Special thanks to the staff.

Framland is a lovely care home. It is well managed, staff are caring, and there are very experienced long term carers working there. I feel we have a very good relationship with many members of staff. The care they give my father is fantastic. I am happy that he is safe and well cared for living there.

My husband went to Framland from the hospital in June of this year. He is 85 years old and suffering from dementia.
Due to his advanced condition, he is now in a different care home in Leicester.
The care he received while at Framland was caring to the extreme and both day and night staff excelled.
The care manager was kindness itself. Nothing was too much trouble. To be recommended.

Not enough staff. Not good enough wages. Care of laundry could be better. I do my Mum's myself to make sure it does not get lost or ruined, possibly a laundry person.

Framland's took care of my aunt from October 2016 at short notice following an 8-week spell in hospital. She was cared for with great kindness and competence. She had complex health needs, diabetes and advanced heart condition and dementia. I kept in touch by telephone as I live 250 miles away. She
was visited by a friend who confirmed that my aunt seemed content and settled. She enjoyed her food and stayed in her room looking out of the window into the garden, reading her books - which were hey joy. The care home kept me fully informed about her health and condition - Thank you!
