I can't thank the management team and all the care staff enough for their care and support in helping her to settle in so quickly. It has been wonderful to see her so relaxed, happy and so at ease with her new surroundings.

The care my Father-in-Law has received from Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home, has been second to none. All the staff are friendly, approachable and provide the best possible care. It was not our choice to put our relative into a care home, circumstances made that for us, yet this has proved time
and time again to have been the best decision. We know our family member is being well looked after and is always happy and well taken care of when we get to see him. Any problems we are contacted straight the way and the lines of communication are always open day or night. Five stars from us. We do think Hunters lodge has a friendly welcoming feel, that said it could do with updating in some areas, not that that reflects on the care given. Fantastic team and fantastic home.

I cannot ever fault Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home. The care in this home is faultless. The staff are amazing and the Management are the best I have ever come across. Mum has been in two previous homes and neither of them met her needs. Mum settled in immediately and loves all the freshly made
food they put in front of her. Mum is in her own happy world and loves the staff.

First rate. The staff are caring, kind and competent. Management is hands-on and effective. The home gives off a feeling of calm and my father is much happier than he was before.
The rooms are a reasonable size and the setting is gorgeous, with the church just over the lane. They have a visiting chiropodist
and hairdresser, so everything is catered for. The main thing for me, however, is that the residents all seem comfortable and content, with strong medication being seldom used.
I don't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this service.

Every member of staff always have a smile on their face, as they deal with every situation with professionalism and respect. Always giving 100%, they make sure to deliver person-centred care, taking time to find strategies to match each service user's specific needs.
Hunters Lodge works hard to make

I would like to express my gratitude for all the care, professional service and kindness the staff at the home have provided to my husband. They at all stages
went above and beyond and could not do enough for us as a family to ensure he was settled and very comfortable. My husband was made welcome from the moment he moved in and was very happy there, he even started to call it home. Mum was a resident for 18 months at the home where she was treated with respect and the utmost care before passing in January 2022. It was very important that Mum received professional care for advancing dementia whilst at Hunters Lodge, where she became a well-loved resident and benefitted from the
engaging and respectful care staff. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention paid to Mum during her last few months. The facilities and structures at Hunters Lodge are of a very high quality and the particular attention paid to Mum with regards to her advancing dementia care was very good. Visiting was a challenge for all during the Covid pandemic, but the staff at Hunters Lodge were steadfast in their attention to the regulations whilst being mindful of the important need for Mum to meet with my father regularly to maintain their essential relationship.

It took 3 tries to find the right care home for my father and I have to say it was 3rd time lucky! I am so grateful for Hunters Lodge and their incredibly kind, compassionate and hard-working staff. My father unfortunately has many underlying health problems so each day can be a battle for him and we
take each day as it comes. On his bad days when he is in pain or not feeling well the carers are so attentive and do their best to put a smile on his face. There was one evening I visited because he wasn’t feeling well and one of the lady carers was humming a lullaby to him to help alleviate him feeling nauseous, this almost brought a tear to my eye. It makes the world of a difference to know he is being well looked after. Thank you Hunters Lodge!

She plays a vital role in work-based supervisions and observations, always being available for staff to discuss any training needs.
