We have a very robust training system in place which covers catheter care but following your review, this will be re-visited. Sorry to hear that we didn’t line up to your expectations. It’s good to hear your feedback and it would be great to be given the opportunity to chat through your concerns if you feel able to pop in to see me. The team pride themselves on their excellent service and regularly receive superb feedback from family and visitors to our home. They will be very saddened to hear your comments, so if you can pop in, we would really like to try to understand where we have gone wrong.
We are quite surprised to see the feedback about food and drink. Our chef has received a number of accolades for his food and we hear nothing but positive feedback from residents, so we are really surprised that you didn’t enjoy what was on offer. If there isn’t something you feel like having on the menu, the chef will rustle up something that really grabs your fancy. The menu offers fresh, seasonal options and has a range of alternatives available. It’s very rare that we can’t find something you like. However again, my door is always open – please feel free to pop in to have a chat.

Marie has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 20 years. During this time she has been able to grow not only in her career but as a person. She began as a care assistant and has since progressed to Home Manager. Although it may be challenging at times, she finds her job extremely rewarding and loves making her residents feel truly valued. As Home Manager, she takes pride in empowering a positive culture across the home with the team and the residents.
In her spare time, Marie is a keen photographer; some of her photographs have even made it onto East Midlands News. Marie believes that “every day is a new opportunity and makes life feel brighter.”
