Ash Tree is a small residential home for up 6 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The home is located in Shepshed on the outskirts of Loughborough and is ideally situated for local facilities, transport routes and maintaining links with the local community.

The home is a two-storey detached Victorian property with surrounding gardens. Care provided is 24-hour and service users are encouraged and supported to remain independent.

Care plans are tailored to each individual's needs and requirements and care is designed to ensure that each resident is treated with respect and dignity at all times.

Kelly-Jo Moses

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2020

Kelly has over 10 years of experience in the care field, Kelly worked for our sister company Clifton House for over 3 years and still works there once a week.


Kelly is a new deputy manager and is still currently in training she has been at Ash Tree Lodge since August 2023.


Kelly aspires to create a safe environment that also prioritises the needs, wants and preferences of each individual. Kelly takes personal care very seriously and ensures all their person-centred care needs are tailored to their care plans.


Communication and staff training is important to Kelly to ensure high standards of care.


Kelly currently has an NVQ level 3 in health & social care and is currently working towards NVQ level 4 and her goal is to achieve an NVQ level 5 in health & social Care.


Kelly is also an oral care champion.


Michelle

Michelle Hancox

Job Title: Manager

Joined: 2016

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in a care home setting.


Michelle has been working at Ash Tree Lodge since November 2020 and officially became registered Manager of Ash Tree on 15th April 2021 after also previously working at both Regis House and Clifton House (sister homes).


Michelle's aim is to empower the service users, to build confidence, so that they can live their best possible lives and become as independent as possible within the community.


Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are extremely important in ensuring both staff and service users feel valued.


Michelle believes well-trained and committed staff build a better environment in which our service users can flourish


Michelle has an NVQ 4 and 5 in health and social care
