My nana lived here. Staff were amazing, so compassionate, and caring. They were always willing to go the extra mile. My nana was very happy in Alston House, couldn’t have picked a better home for her. Thank you for your care.

The staff are excellent and very considerate and friendly. The home environment is comfortable. Does need some improvement to the decor but this is being dealt with by the new owners. Usually visit early mornings during breakfast which always looks good. The bedroom is kept tidy and clean with ample
space.

Kate is our wonderful Manager at Alston House. She has a background in care and well-being support and brings fabulous energy to the home. Having worked for the Mental Health Institute, Kate is well adept at providing warm and supportive environments for her residents and staff. Beyond her job role, Kate loves to spend time with family and friends and is a keen sewer. Meaning she loves to get stuck into activities and crafts at Alston where she can and has a fabulous imagination.

Stefan is one of our most experienced employees, having worked his way up to his Deputy position and spent time in a number of different homes. Meaning he is adept at dealing with any situation with diligence and expertise. He is calm, patient and an extremely hard worker. Despite these professional achievements, Stefan has said that his biggest joy is to support and uplift his residents. When he's not at work, Stefan is busy embracing his new role as a father to his beautiful baby girl. As a proud Marvel fan and pizza enthusiast, he lives by the motto, "If you can dream it, you can do it!".
