I am so pleased that how the new owners have completely 100% made this care home better. I can't thank the staff and the manager, enough. No more sleepless nights for me or my dad. I am absolutely elated to see my dad so happy and contented. Dementia is so cruel and heartbreaking and to have trust with
people that are taking care of your loved ones, is everything. Kindness, compassion and understanding and from the bottom of my heart I can't thank you enough.

I sometimes visit my great-grandma in the home and the carers and quality of care seem amazing. I wouldn't choose a different home for her.

The staff at Groby Lodge have been amazing. They have really got to know my Mum over the last two weeks and genuinely have her best interests at heart. The person-centred care they provide for all their service users is so lovely to see, and Mum, despite really not wanting to go to a care home, has
settled in so well and really seems to enjoy being there. I am so grateful to the staff for looking after Mum so well and being so kind, compassionate and caring to service users and visitors alike.

The care that my dad receives is exemplary. He has advanced dementia and requires a high level of care. The standard of care he receives is excellent and the carers are friendly and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. The carers are consistent which allows them to develop a relationship with
the residents. The atmosphere is friendly and homely.
The new owners are excellent and have invested in upgrading the home in terms of the environment and technology. The residents are very happy and I could not ask for anything better for my dad.

The staff at Groby Lodge really try hard to help all the residents. They were really helpful and considerate to my mother while she was there over the three-year period. The food was good and all the staff were caring and attentive.

This home was only taken over on April 1st 2022. On my first visit, it looked very uncared for. We were given assurance that this would be upgraded. So far, everything we were told from bedrooms, kitchens, floors etc have been upgraded to a good standard. I am delighted with all the carers and staff.
My mother is happy, as are all residents in this home. I cannot praise this home enough.

The home has improved so much since the new owners took over. The care the residents receive is now amazing, all residents seem a lot happier. The building is looking so much better now. The new owners have invested a lot of time and money into getting the place back up to a good standard! I'm so impressed
by the improvement and it shows in the residents' smiles

We found the carers absolutely brilliant. So kind and couldn't do enough for my friend's family and us. The manager was one of the best we ever met, kept us well informed. There are not enough words to express how good the carers were to us all.

When visiting Groby Lodge care home before my auntie became a resident, all staff were welcoming, kind and happy to help. There was an instant feeling of home and this continued once my auntie became a resident. Each staff member provided a high quality of care along with making it a happy place to
be. Each staff member were always approachable and happy to help when needed and would always listen and provide emotional support when my auntie or myself needed it.
I genuinely can't thank the home manager and staff enough for the care they provided for my auntie. From the day my auntie became a resident, the relief that she was safe and had continuous care was instant as the staff filled me with trust as they were caring, compassionate and most of all, my auntie was happy and settled with them. Thank you all for caring for my auntie.

My relative has been here for over 2 years. The staff treat him like they would a member of their own family. At times when my relative is unwell, the staff are quick to notice this and act accordingly. Any feedback about improvements that can be made are always listened to by staff and they work with
us to make his care the best that it can be. It is reassuring for us to know that he is so well loved and cared for when we are not there.e The ratio of staff to residents is excellent.

All of the carers here at Groby Lodge are exceptional at their jobs, without fail they give their all to each resident living here. Before my grandma came here the idea of her going to a care home devastated me, however since Grandma has been living here I've seen such an improvement. She is happy,
safe and healthy. This is due to the fact the girls here care for her as if she's their own family. The residents here are treated as individuals and are always given that important 1 to 1 contact. They are all lovely ladies who work here and I believe the home is as nice as it is because of them.
