We have been delighted with The Bungalow and the care Dad has received. I rang the manager in a state of panic when it became clear Dad would not be able to return home after a hospital stay. She could not have been more helpful and reassuring and that has been out experience with all the staff. A really
caring, kind and supportive environment.

As local next of kin, we had the benefit of seeing this care home at various times through their working day and different shift staff, as well as by regular telephone contact with several staff and the manager. We witnessed attentive and caring people, knowledgeable, able to advise us, and we had no
doubt all were well-trained. I would have mentioned a few people in particular but that would have omitted many others purely because I didn't note down their names. Overall we felt extremely lucky to have our loved one placed at this care home, cut short only due to a health issue requiring a hospital check. We would have no hesitation if social workers made a repeat placement at this same home.

I am a relative of a service user who now resides here. My answers are only based on what I have observed, as the service user has only been there for two weeks. So far, from what I have observed, the carers are doing a grand job. They are so polite, and nothing is too much for them. Keep up the good
work. The service user is so happy and repeatedly tells me how nice they all are.

The staff were exceptional with the care they provided. Nothing was too much, all very caring. Kind people. The atmosphere within the home is relaxed and friendly. Like an extended family environment.

Mum-in-law stayed with The Bungalow for just over a week. Having felt very apprehensive she was made to feel comfortable and was taken extremely good care of. The staff were amazing - cannot recommend it enough!

Every time I visit here it is always a very pleasant experience. All staff and management appear genuinely caring towards visitors and residents. The care home is top notch with cleanliness, facilities, activities and most importantly safety and security. I would recommend this home.

My mother has dementia and now is a resident of The Bungalow Care Home. The home is exceptionally clean, and the residents always look well looked after. The staff, from the cleaner to management level are so approachable and really do have the resident's individual needs very well in hand.
I never
visit without seeing lots of staff, tea and drinks with residents always.

My mother is in the home, she has always been well looked after from day one. The staff are very good with the residents, very caring towards them. When I go to see my mum, they are so friendly towards me and my family. I have so much respect for them.

I found the staff at my dad's care home very professional and treated my dad with dignity and care. My dad was in need of complex care, which was met at all times by the care home staff. I found the staff approachable, friendly and knowledgeable and always made time for both myself and my husband.

With over 25 years of dedicated experience in Social Care, Janet has built her career, starting as a Care Assistant, and advancing to a registered manager.


Janet believes in developing her team by empowering them to achieve their full potential. She has supported members of the team to undertake additional training to become ambassadors and champions, this approach ensures they have the skills and knowledge to care for your loved ones.


Janet promotes a home from home, friendly and family environment for our residents and their loved ones, she believes the team, family and friends need to work in partnership to have an holistic approach, whilst promoting independence and enabling residents to achieve their goals.


Janet has actively developed bonds with members of the local community, this has led to several groups visiting the residents and sharing meaningful time with them on a regular basis.
