St John's Care Home is situated in the quiet market town of Spalding. The home has spacious dining rooms, lounges and a mature garden. The care home has a warm, friendly atmosphere with a dedicated team of care staff.

Chef Managers cook a variety of nutritious and tasty meals to provide residents with appealing daily menus which are updated regularly. Special dietary requirements are catered for.

Residents are encouraged and supported by the well-being and activities champions to continue to enjoy their interests and hobbies. From gardening and flower arranging to arts, crafts and games there is always something for residents to join in with should they wish to.

Residents benefit from a lively social life at the home with weekly exercise sessions, regular outings and entertainment. Arrangements can be made for residents to be visited regularly by a hairdresser and chiropodist. The home enjoys strong ties with the local community, with regular visits from church groups and pupils from the local primary school.

Quality staff, care, activities. All-round best care ever, and food is amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants the quality of life and care. This home has a strong understanding of dementia care. Always meeting individual needs.

St John’s Care Home is by far the best. The staff welcomed my dad and has helped to settle him and give him all the care and guidance he needs. They look after all their residents and families so well. It feels like everyone is family in the home. It is such a relief knowing that my dad is getting the
help and care that he needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them. He has been in there for almost 2-years, and I can’t thank you enough. They always go above and beyond. A big thank you to one member of staff who has been my rock since my dad went into the home during the lockdown. Also, thanks to the manager and the team for all their dedication and hard work and for being there for me too.

I love going to see my nan at St John's. I know times haven’t been easy recently, but I am so grateful for everything they do for her. She is so well looked after and always looks great with lovely coordinated outfits!

I went to visit St John's during December, and the festivity and atmosphere were so lovely. The person I went to visit was so happy, singing along with a staff member when I arrived and everyone said hello when I met people in the corridors.

Such a lovely place for my grandma to be. The carers always take time to help, and whenever I have a question for them or need anything, it’s never too much to ask. The cakes and desserts look great too!

My mum has been at St John's for 3 years now and the staff are superb, caring and welcoming. Even during the most challenging of times during the pandemic, they have remained happy, cheerful and, above all, caring and considerate. How they have managed to remain so whilst wearing full PPE all day, every
day, I don't know but they have and I for one am extremely grateful.

The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and bright and the whole place is very clean! During my grandfather's stay here he has been very happy and is more sociable now than he ever has been!

My father spent just 5 weeks at St John's for respite before passing away in Mid January 2020. As a family, we could not speak highly enough about the quality of care that he received. All the staff were tremendously kind and compassionate and treated him with dignity at every stage.
The end of life
care was exactly as we would have wanted. Such a high-quality experience. The best of the best.

My mum was only here for a short time but the manager and her staff were extremely kind, helpful and understanding. They looked after mum really well and I know that mum grew very fond of them. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend St John's Care Home. The place itself was exceptionally clean,
tidy and was in a lovely setting. I was extremely impressed with St John's and its manager and staff.

My sister has been a resident here for 4 years. As her health has deteriorated the level of care provided at this care home has increased to the point of 24 hours attention. She is rested and peaceful at all times. The facilities are quite excellent, clean, bright and cheerful. The staff are capable,
friendly and kind. When my time comes, I want to be in a place like this.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, my father had to stay for two weeks having respite care. The staff here are incredible and friendly and courteous. My father's room was very clean as was the while home.
Nothing was too much trouble to the staff, I highly endorse the whole organisation.

My Grandma has dementia and is very well cared for at St John's. She is as comfortable as can be and we have never had any concerns for her care. All of the meals I have seen look very appetising and her room is kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. Me and my family would highly recommend St John's.

My friend has been in St Johns for nearly a year now and I visit once every few weeks. She is always very happy and looks well looked after. She enjoys joining in with the activities that they have on during the day and loves getting involved with the singing. The staff are always very friendly and

We have visited on a number of occasions and at different times of the day. We always found the staff to be attentive to the service user needs and she tells us that during the night the staff are equally as attentive and make sure her needs are always met and feels safe and secure. The service user's
clothes are laundered and she always looks nice, on some occasions I have found other people's clothes in her draws and wardrobe and have been informed that sometimes she as worn someone else's clothes, which is not ideal for her. Her bedroom is light and nicely decorated and is always clean and smells nice. The communal living area can have an unpleasant smell.
