Welbourn Manor Care Centre is a residential care centre for older people situated in a North Lincolnshire village.

The building is set in extensive grounds and has 25 bedrooms (21 single
bedrooms and two double rooms).

The home's residents are supported by a team of highly-trained staff who work hard to meet the care needs and wishes of staff.   

Activities for residents include arts and crafts and a range of hobbies and past-times. Entertainers and musicians visit regularly.

Residents dietary needs are met by cooks who prepare meals that are fresh, locally-sourced ingredients -including ethically-sourced fish.

My grandmother was admitted following a fall. The staff were all very friendly and although her stay was always going to be temporary they did everything they could to make her feel welcome. The staff were always friendly and polite and were conscious of my grandmother's needs, anticipating and dealing
with things as they arose. The staff were always available to answer any questions that we had about my grandmothers care and were ready to assist us in any way that we needed. Staff were patient with my grandmother at a difficult time for her and always took her needs into consideration when providing her care. We were allowed to visit at times that were convenient to us and were not restricted in any way by home rules or regulations. The staff assisted with more than the physical care providing assistance with IT to allow Skype chat and telephone calls when needed which allowed other members of the family contact with my grandmother. A great service provided at a difficult time.

My mother has been treated extremely well. All the staff have the patience to deal with her needs, albeit very demanding but nothing is too much trouble. Whenever I visit, which can be at any time, they are always helpful and accommodating. Understaffed but always do their best.

I was extremely worried by the thought of coming here but have been well and truly surprised. Everything and everybody has been truly wonderful and I have already told my son that should I ever need physical or mental care, he would try to get me a place here. My grateful thanks to absolutely everybody
whatever their title, position or what we see them doing. In my working life, I was a psychiatric social worker so feel perhaps my view/opinion was that I am only here because of a foot/leg injury in incapacitating plaster which I am appreciated.

My dad is happy with the lovely setting and grounds of Welbourn Manor. We have found the staff to be very welcoming and caring at all times, nothing is too much trouble. Dad says the food is 5 star! Bailey, the dog has become a great friend and companion to him. Keep up the good work!

My mother has been a resident for 12 months and I have absolute confidence in that she is safe, well cared for and treated with dignity. The management and care staff are excellent and provided my mother with a second home when she is happy and content. The care staff are extremely good in other difficult
situations. Importantly, the care home is very open to visitors and often invite the community to events.
