Wonderful care and service given at all times. I was told that the food was extremely good and very varied! Staff are always friendly and approachable, nothing is too much trouble and they made a point of learning mum's little ways. The café was very smart with different displays and had interesting
things to see. At the end, everyone was kind, personified and made a sad time bearable. Many thanks to you all.

Really happy Mum is being looked after so well. The residents are so happy and the care workers are wonderful and very helpful. Mum's needs are being met and understood and it is so nice to see her so well settled. There are lots of things for her to do with entertainment and activities. She's had her
nails done and she is eating really well as the meals look great. It's such a relief to see her so settled and relaxed.

I have been here for a year now. When I came here my confidence was low. Now it is much better with the help from the staff and management.


The care I am having is excellent. I do the garden for them and they appreciate what I have done in the garden as well.

The manager and staff of all grades are very nice to us when we visit, we are always offered a drink and made to feel welcome. Everyone will talk to us and they are all very courteous and tell us how our father has been. If we have any questions we can ask anyone and will always get an honest answer.
I have found every member of staff is really good with my father whether it is caring for him or talking him.
The home itself is ver nice, the lounges, the rooms and the corridors are always clean.I find it a pleasant experience when I come to visit my father.

Having lived all my life with my father, the thought of putting him into a residential care home made me feel extremely anxious and extremely upset. However, since dad has been at Ashley Court, I have found that I feel content knowing that the staff and the manager are taking good care of him. My father
has a very good rapport with the staff and is constantly saying how nice they are. Everyone treats him with respect and makes him feel special. I know that the manager will seek medical advice if required and always keeps me updated which makes me feel reassured. I always enjoy visiting Ashley Court and I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone else in a similar position.

I as a family member are more than happy that the care given to my aunt always friendly staff.
She is well looked after with food and cleanliness, although sometimes gets dressed in the wrong clothes belonging to someone else. The staff make me very welcome and are always offering tea or coffee and

Mum decided to go into care, she has good days and bad days, still, on the good days it's so nice to see her laughing, singing, dancing, bingo, game playing with all her new friends. The staff are great and the manager is very nice, helpful and understanding as are the staff. Mum is now safe and looked

The transition into residential care can be emotional and complex. The staff at Ashley Court welcomed my father and have supported us in some complex issues. My father has settled well and is being well cared for - which is reassuring for me knowing he is safe and content. All the staff are friendly
and their caring attitude comes across. The environment although basic is clean and comfortable.

When my friend was well enough go out we used to take him to the bank every month and then go out for a coffee.
His wife is also handicapped and does not write or read very well so I also support her in her home she easily panics so whenever there is any kind of situation the staff at the home ring
me and I personally go round to her and explain what is happening. The also ring me and I take him to his medical appointments or meet him at A.E when necessary.
All the staff at Ashley Court are very friendly and polite.
They put on a number of activities for both residents and families to enjoy.

My brother has been here 8 months after her previous home was closed by CQC. We are amazed at the contrast in well-managed home. My brother was a gardener in a museum in Cardiff for 30+ years and here he has taken over the garden. It gives him much pleasure managing it and has improved it. He was given
a fork and trowel as a reward for his work which delighted him. My brother has mild Asperger's Syndrome and does not mix well, but he has settled in well and chats with the staff. I am very happy to see him so well in this home. I cannot speak too highly of the staff.

My mother has been at Ashley Court for almost 2 1/2 years. In that time, although her dementia has slightly deteriorated, her attitude has improved considerably. This is totally due to the care and attention she receives on a daily basis. She herself says she is contented, there is plenty going on and
the staff are lovely. I couldn't agree more. The stimulus provided by the entertainment member of staff is excellent. After visiting my mother regularly I always leave knowing that she is in the very best of care.

A short term stay whilst care package in place for home discharge.
First impression: greeted by friendly and helpful staff. They made mum feel at home and brought out her fun character which she enjoyed. She had been struggling with appetite in hospital but really enjoyed the food - which I'm sure
she will miss!
Everyone was really good to her during her stay. Didn't get to use the lounge or dining room as she was on oxygen in her room and wasn't there long enough to obtain a portable tank. The room was large with all she needed but could do with a bit of TLC - furniture bit shabby. Although - it's the care that's important and we were very happy with this.

My aunt was a resident of Ashley Court from August 2016 until her death in February 2017. She told me she liked the home and was very happy with the entertainment and the food had a lovely flavour.
As I live in Canada, I mostly talked to her by phone. Other than the pain she was in, she was happy.
When she was in her last days, the manager at the home took all my phone calls and kept me informed on her condition.

I am writing this review with regard to my friend who resided at Ashley Court from August 2016 until February 2017 when she sadly passed away. The staff couldn't have made her feel more at home when she moved there from Finedon. I know my friend was very worried but they made her feel at ease and very
welcome. The staff were very kind and helpful to her and as her friend, I am very grateful to them for their care and support.
