Burlington Court Care Home, rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC in September 2020, is purpose-built for individuals with nursing needs and living with dementia. There is also a separate ground floor area housing 24 residents who are elderly frail and without a diagnosis of dementia.

Residents have a number of communal areas to spend time in, including several lounges and dining areas, along with two large enclosed gardens, an activity centre and coffee bar. All residents have their own bedroom with en-suite facilities. Residents are comfortable in the well-presented, relaxing environment, staffed by a well-trained, talented team of care professionals who are able to achieve effective results and look after people up until the end of their lives.

Burlington Court has its own hairdressing salon and has regular visits from chiropodists and opticians, while having a varied and enjoyable schedule of activities, entertainment and outings available to residents arranged by the Lifestyle Support team.

The home is extremely proud to be one of the few homes in the country to achieve an Outstanding rating from CQC consistently since 2016 (October 2016. September 2020).   

In 2023, Burlington Court acquired a small number of self contained apartments within the complex, so they are now able to offer assisted living within the service. Please ring for further details on this.

My brother was a resident in Burlington Court for 16 months and just passed away.
The high marks that I have given are a true reflection of everybody and everything relating to this care home. I recommend this home to anyone because I have had the privilege of seeing the loving care given to my brother
and he loved it. I will go further and say that God forbid anything happening to me, I would have no problem in going into Burlington.

My experience of this home is fantastic great staff, clean, no smell and very friendly. All the residents are looked after its home from home. I have already recommended the home to two more families who have put their family into the home and are very happy with it.

As a family, we can't thank the staff at Burlington Court Care home enough for the care they gave Dad in his final few months spent with us. Despite his battle with dementia, they all treated him as the person he was and helped maintain his dignity to the end. He mattered as an individual to them all
and that helped us cope with the sadness we all felt.


We always speak highly of Burlington to anyone who asks us about the standard of care. The staff are patient and kind in their treatment of the residents. We never hear a cross word spoken and Mum often told us how ‘nice the girls and guys are there’.


They do their best for vulnerable people in the most difficult times of their lives and we thank you for the support that you gave to families like ourselves as well.


The facilities, food, environment, activities and homely feel of the place is second to none.

I came to visit an elderly work friends wife. What a nice reception I received both on the phone and on arrival. The staff welcomed me and offered a drink on my arrival as well as the clients. I was overjoyed to see the resident happy and well. After years of depression she seems over it and comfortable.
The staff were a joy to see around happy and smiling. The clients talking about lots of activities they have been engaging in. One staff member sitting and holding the hand of a client and speaking with her. Such genuine care. I've visited a few care homes but this certainly made me very happy to be there. Congratulations all staff you are a delight.

Our lovely mum spent her last 3 months in the care of the most amazing team of people. My mum suffered with dementia and spent her last two and a half years at Burlington Court on Tudor. All the staff worked so hard to meet her needs. The care, compassion and kindness of all the staff was outstanding. We were always made to feel so welcome when we came to visit and are always informed
of any health issues. We would highly recommend Burlington Court - the cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas, space inside to walk and wander, beautiful well kept gardens to sit in, the extensive range of food and snacks on offer, the abundance of activities taking place for the residents and relatives to enjoy and the first class care and support of all the highly skilled staff. We know she was so well looked after - thank you to all.

This bright, airy home has a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. From the moment you enter the reception area, you are met with a smile and a warm welcome. The home is nicely and well furnished and everywhere is clean and tidy. The dementia area is totally secure, yet easy to access with coded doors.
My mother's needs are quite demanding, but the staff go out of their way to ensure they are met fully. They review her needs regularly and efficiently. My mother is kept comfortable by staff who care for her in a warm and genuinely caring manner.

My husband has been a resident for nearly a year now and at first, I feared I had lost him but now I feel I have gained an extended family. The home welcome my visits any time and always inform me of any falls or changes in his condition. I feel secure in the knowledge that he is well cared for and
the professionalism of all staff from restaurant, housekeeping, activities team, carers and management is excellent. No matter what challenges the staff face, including settling in new residents, to end of life care, they work with good humour and genuine care for the resident and their families.

We sadly lost our mum in October; mum came to Burlington Court suffering from delirium and dementia but with difficult behaviours. Mum was scared by her position and fiercely protected her independence and privacy. The staff invested so much time and patience to respect her views and yet encourage her
to join in. It took 2 years for mum to adjust to care home living and for her room or her place at her table to become the place she felt safest. She grew to love the staff and frequently told them so.


Nothing is perfect, however, without doubt, everyone from maintenance man, housekeeping, carers, the manager tried their very best to make mum feel cared for and special. The unit staff (Windsor) personalise the care to the resident, no one size fits all. The manager will consider any request to make your loved one feel relaxed, so long as safety isn't compromised. Staff always make time to support relatives, care plans, medical updates often just a much-needed hug and tea.


Absolutely recommended.

Very disappointed by the awful smell we are greeted with as we enter the upper landing. It makes you want to be sick, burns your nasal passages.
Communal room is again dirty with food over chairs and floor and there is a side table with broken leg.

My mother was resident at Burlington Court for over 2 years until her death, during that time she was treated with love and respect. Her care was always appropriate and I was always kept informed if there were any problems with her health. The management and staff are all very friendly and helpful whilst
being efficient and work together to make the atmosphere in the home a happy one.

I have been using Burlington Court Care Home for the past five months now for mum's respite care. Sometimes for a weekend as well as one week.
The staff are always super friendly when they see mum which makes her feel relaxed and at home.
She is well looked after, staff are efficient, friendly and
know how to make a 94 year old lady with dementia feel very relaxed. I always recommend Burlington Court to anyone who asks.

My father was reluctant to go into a care home, but failing ability to be on his own forced our hand.
One morning found dad sitting at a dining table tucking into bacon, eggs, toast and marmalade and a cup of tea. I've just had a lovely bath "he said" this will do me. He likes sitting in his favourite
chair reading his paper. The residents are taken out for pub lunches afternoon teas, trips to the theatre walks round the local park, daily exercises, quiz's, painting and cookery also available. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. If dad should feel poorly he was tenderly cared for in bed. Meals are tasty and varied. Residents are seated at linen covered tables and served three meals a day plus snacks and drinks throughout the day. I can't sing the praise of the staff enough a terrific team.

I am so pleased that we found Burlington Court for Mum. When we first looked for a care home we thought the cost would be too much because of the "look" and facilities.
In the end, because of Mum's deteriorating condition and her previous home's escalating charges, Burlington Court was a far better
proposition - and their rates are fixed for a year.
The care is amazing. The rooms are immaculate and every single member of staff knows Mum and knows me and my family.
