I am very pleased with care given to my dad. He can be very difficult at times, but all efforts are made to treat him with dignity and respect. I moved my dad to Holly House Residential Home from a previous care home where he really struggled to settle. Holly House is great for him and us. Also the
food is very good. I have eaten here several times myself.

My wife has been a resident for over a year. During this time she has been happy. The management and carer staff have always been attentive to her welfare and needs. The premises are kept clean and hygienic. I remain happy with the care that continues to be taken for her well-being.

I was very satisfied with the care my mother received. She had complex care issues and the staff were always very kind and caring towards her. I felt that she was very safe and cared for. She was well fed and the staff took time to make sure she ate her food. The only improvement I can suggest is to
have more staff at very busy times.

Holly House staff have cared wonderfully for my relatives these last three and a half years. She has been treated with kindness and consideration throughout and with particular care for her own special needs and condition. We, her family, have always been made very welcome. This is a very welcoming
home with very caring staff.

The owners and staff at Holly House have provided unparalleled care for my poor mum. Her dementia has made her quite challenging to care for, but the carers have been infinitely patient and kind to her. Her physical needs are taken care of; she is being properly fed and has put on some weight; her overall
condition is much improved. My wife and I looked at several local care homes in preparation for this day and Holly House was by far the best in our opinion.

Perfect place for my mother to live as the care is the best. The owners are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The carers are superb and did everything they could for my mother. So glad that she was able to spend the last years of her life there.

The staff are Holly House Residential Home give excellent care to the residents. They are very caring indeed, my mother is always pleased to see them and this is evident by her facial expression. The staff are approachable and friendly, I feel confident that my mother is well cared for.

The staff at Holly House Residential Home are always so friendly and helpful. Mum is always happy to see them.
The coronation party was wonderful. Mum really enjoyed it. It prompted memories of the last coronation when Mum was in London.
I would recommend Holly House Residential Home to anyone requiring
elderly care. Mum really enjoys the food that is prepared.

Our aunt has particular needs having had a stroke. The staff are always caring and considerate, responding to her needs. She has communication issues and mobility. Staff are keeping us informed of her status if we are unable to visit. The care home has welcomed us as visitors, holding events for us
to share with my aunt which have given us lots of happy memories.

My Mother was transferred to Holly House in October 2022 from hospital.
My mother passed away near the beginning of March 2023.
She was in her 90s very frail, not weight bearing, and had Dementia.
During the time my mother was a resident at Holly House, there was nothing that the carers wouldn’t
do for my mother.
The kindness and love shown was way beyond what I expected.
I was able to visit at any time during the day it didn’t matter if it was lunchtime, toileting time, or teatime.
I was always welcome.
The food was also very nutritious and enjoyed by my mother.
The owners of Holly House were very mindful of their residents getting infections, all visitors, staff, and medical professionals had to perform a COVID test before entering Holly House.
I can’t praise this care home enough for the care they gave my mother.
The owners and carers were superb.

Outstanding in many ways. We moved our mother into the facility at the end of last year. The bedroom is new with a very functional en-suite. Facility is maintained very well and kept very clean. There is a nice conservatory which looks out onto the gardens. Nothing is too much trouble. Very attentive
and caring staff. I would highly recommend this care home.

During the pandemic my mum was taken into Holly House. How lucky was I, as they have been wonderful to my precious mum. The manager always has time to talk with you and I have found all the staff welcoming. The home itself is lovely and clean and very homely. I could not have picked a better home for

I cannot recommend Holly House highly enough. The management and the staff all went above and beyond in caring for our mother. We chose Holly House after extensive research and were extremely happy with the outcome. It was a difficult decision to move our Mum to a care facility but it was the right
decision at the right time and the team did not let us down.

We really couldn’t have chosen a better home for our dad! He is so very lucky to be cared for by the staff and management at Holly House. Each member of staff knows my dad well and understands his individual needs and requirements, they adapt the care to make him comfortable and relaxed. I know my
father is treated with dignity as I have witnessed this. Caring for people with dementia isn’t easy and even when challenges have arisen, the staff have done everything possible to assist my dad and maintain his safety and well-being. Particularly through lockdown I know the management have gone above and beyond to protect the residents and staff of the care home and I can’t thank them enough for this. The facilities are constantly being updated to enhance the experience for residents. As a family we spent a lot of time visiting care homes before making our choice, we definitely made the right one!

What a lovely care home. Cannot fault the cleanliness and all of the staff. As a regular visitor, I was extremely happy with the care that they have shown to residents and visitors. Nothing was too much trouble as they went over and above what I expected and were very caring.
The staff were very good
and handled the residents considerately, especially during Covid. I was very impressed that they were Covid free for many months and that showed how seriously they took cleanliness.
I would definitely recommend putting your loved ones in their hands.

I am writing to recommend Holly House. My Mum spent five years here and she was very well cared for during this time. It’s was such a relief her needs were taken care of in such a happy and caring environment and more so during lockdown. The home has a family feel and the owners are very much involved
in the residents care. They are also always on top of medical/health issues and have a good relationship with the local surgery. The staff are very caring and patient and everyone is welcoming when you visit.
