My mum is a resident and is so happy to have things to do during the day , the selection of food is varied & on an extensive rota , she is looking good on it & healthy ,
couldn't fault any of the staff they are knowledgeable abut each residents needs & quirks , thank you to all xx

As soon as you enter Wendleberrie, you feel at home. The residents don't live in a home. They are at home. They are individuals. The staff are very good and attentive to the residents' needs.
The fact that the staff are there for a long time reflects on their loyalty and commitment to their work. Also
what I like is at the end of the day, the manager comes to say 'cheerio' to the residents in their room.

Very welcoming to residents and family as soon as you walk through the door.
Already had a friend in here a few years ago so Mum knew the home well. This has definitely helped and she seems very happy.

Each time I visit I am welcomed warmly with an offer of a drink. The home looks clean and homely. My sister-in-law is happy and always clean and looks cared for. The manager, if present, always comes and speaks. All staff are polite and ready to discuss any issues.

They are an excellent dedicated team. They treat the clients as family. Always friendly and welcoming, always ready to communicate. If I required a care home it's the one I would choose.

Having cared for my father until he died and continuing to care for my mother, I have found the staff at Wendleberrie House to be kind and supportive, often going the extra mile. The environment is clean, safe, and calm and visitors are welcomed and accommodated whenever they choose to visit. I feel
very lucky that my parents were offered residency at Wendleberrie.

Wendleberrie House have been very good with my grandfather, who is a long-term resident in the home. They are attentive and always communicate any problems to me. The standard of care is very high and I would recommend the home to others.

Mum's been a resident for nearly 4 years now, the staff are really friendly and caring looking after all her needs in a cheerful manner whilst coping with her frequently changing moods.
We are always made welcome with a cup of tea and biscuits on our visits!

My mother was admitted to Wendleberrie house nearly eighteen months ago after her dementia had progressed to a level where she was no longer able to live independently. The staff have been extremely supportive and attentive and she has settled in well. After a lengthy stay in hospital she had lost a
lot of weight. The team at Wendleberrie took a great deal of time to understand her diet, what she liked and what she didn't, and she is now a very healthy weight. She has since suffered a stroke and the staff were superb in quickly getting her transferred to a local hospital where she received excellent treatment and she is receiving further treatment for her mobility by a community team that visit Wendleberrie. Wendleberrie is a small care home so may lack the facilities of larger homes. The rooms are small, but well-appointed with en suite bathrooms. Activities are organised by community teams that visit the home and the staff of Wendleberrie. My mother really enjoys music activities.

We are happy with this home because it is very homely. I like the idea that we can personalise the room. The staff are all friendly and helpful and welcoming. They always offer us a drink when we visit and are willing to assist when asked.

My mother had been in the care home for 27 months. Thought her changing needs, even when at the most challenging symptoms of dementia, were met. The past year was particularly difficult but Wendleberrie staff and management went above and beyond our expectations. Mum's decline and needs were always
met, her treatment was tweaked, diet adjusted and they managed to avoid hospital admissions which were particularly distressing for Mum. She passed away in December, having been respectfully and lovingly cared for by these amazing people, from whom I learned the meaning of true care.

Provides a safe home with caring staff for my very elderly mother who suffers with her dementia and resulting mood swings. The facilities provided are sufficient for my mother who has limited capacity to benefit from a more wide ranging offering due to her age, physical limitations and her dementia.
Most
importantly, I know she is safe and well cared for at Wendleberrie House.

My mum's district nurse recommended Wendleberrie to us. Mum had tried another care home that was more like a hotel where residents didn't socialise together much.
Wendleberrie is like a big family home. The residents usually sit together in the lounge area which is good for Mum as she was very lonely
living alone at home before. The meals are varied and it always smells amazing when I go to visit. Mum is completely blind but is looked after so well by the amazing staff. They have daily activities to keep residents entertained- Mum's favourite is bingo.
The rooms are immaculate and always nicely presented. We tried Mum out for a trial period to see how she settled in and made her permanent after we'd seen how great the care was.
Mum has made friends there and has a routine which is facilitated by the wonderful staff there.

I have found Wendleberrie House to be a very comfortable place, with friendly and helpful staff (carers).
The food provided is good with a varied choice and portions ample.
Some entertainment is provided and activities if you wish to join in.
I feel it is also a very safe place to be.

It's a very nice home, everyone is so friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend it. The home is always nice and clean. The residents are well looked after. Staff I will take their time with the residents to make sure residents have what they need. And I always feel very welcome each time I go
there. Like I said I would recommend this home. It feels very homely.

Some aspects need to be overhauled food okay but small helpings, regularly having to buy pads as they were forgotten to be ordered. Buy her toiletries, family provide food stuff as only the necessary supplied (take it or leave it). Day staff are generally okay but one or two have an unpleasant attitude
if they feel like it. Night staff are a bit rough, with bruises on arms etc. Mannerisms are a lot to be desired by these, sometimes the room is a bit colder than it should be.

Staff are always helpful, accommodating and kind to residents and visitors alike. There is a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. We always feel welcome and reassured that my aunty is well cared for. This is the nicest care home that we have ever visited.
