My brother was given a place in Beech House Carehome Worksop following a spell in hospital where he was admitted after a fall at home. When I visited him in hospital, he was frail, miserable and had given up on life. I was away on holiday when he went to Beech House and on visiting him when I returned,
I couldn't believe the difference. He is now very happy, well and eating everything - he's always been fussy but they've got him to try new things. Beech House has, undoubtedly, saved his life. Thank you.

After two short spells of respite care at Beech House Carehome Worksop, it became necessary for my wife to have full-time residential care in June 2024. Of course, it had to be Beech House. The management/care team is outstanding and as a family, we could not have wished for better. Friendly, caring
and supportive both to me, as her husband, and my family. During the last weeks, days and hours of my wife's end-of-life care, I could not have wished for better kindness, friendliness and non-intrusive support from all the staff, whether in the day or during the night. They helped to make those final days so very special. Outstanding! If you want the best for a family member then look no further. Beech House cannot be bettered. So much so that they have become a second family to me and my daughters. Thank you Beech House. You deserve the highest accolades.

My mother is a resident at Beech House Carehome Worksop Ltd and she has been staying there since March. The staff and management are friendly kind and welcoming. They make you feel comforted by the fact the residents are well looked after, treated with respect and have a safe and happy environment.
We take my dad to visit regularly and the staff and management make him welcome. They keep me and our family informed of any issues or concerns about mum on a regular basis.

My nan was in Beech House Carehome Worksop for seven months this year (2024). The staff here have been excellent with my nan and with us when visiting, they have been very professional, communicated well and courteous every time we've visited. My nan has always been well-presented whenever we have visited,
which was always spur of the moment and not planned. The staff have been very quick to organise a doctor and medication when Nan was unwell and to inform us of any issues. And when she was not eating much, encouraged her to try and eat, they (in our opinion) have gone above and beyond and have definitely given that personal touch to my nan's final weeks.
The kitchen staff work endlessly to provide quality, freshly cooked, homemade meals. Thank you to all of the staff here, you have made this time a little less stressful than it could have been.

From the moment myself and two sisters visited the care home, we knew this was the right place for Mum to live in as it felt just like home. The management team and care team go above and beyond in meeting each resident's care needs, both personal and emotional, they show love, dignity and respect and

Excellent care. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can put my mother in respite and know that she is looked after. In fact, she's spoilt when she goes in. Staff are amazing and very kind and thoughtful. Always things going on to entertain the residents. The two ladies I mainly deal with are always

My mum has lived at Beech House Care Home since 2022. She has advanced dementia now.
I can honestly say that it’s been very hard for me seeing her decline but all the staff have been very supportive.
Letting go of your own mother and having someone else look after her, isn't an easy thing to do.
Nevertheless, I’m very confident in the fact there is no other care home that matches the quality of care and standards of Beech House.
There are not enough words to say how grateful I am for all the care that Mum receives.
From the professional, very supportive management team, the carers, the wonderful activities lady, the cooks and all the other staff.
Everyone plays their part, in enriching my mum's life.
After working in the care sector myself for a long time, there is no other care home that comes close to Beech House. Thank you so much.

My mum had been a resident for three years. From the outset, I knew I had made the right decision for her. The support she received in those early days brought her back to me and I am so pleased that Beech House is her home. Three years later I am even more impressed with the leadership. The owner,
management team and lead carers constantly look to make everything the best it can be. Nothing stands still. The desire to continually improve in all areas is so evident and feeds through to team members who are well trained, supported and assessed. In recent months there has been a real buzz with new activities introduced to involve all residents. It’s a lot of work for everyone but has added so much joy. Whatever is happening when I am there, I am always aware of the staff calmly following their routines. They respond to incidents without fuss and always with care. It’s very impressive. I have so much respect for the entire team at Beech House.

Mum was a resident for 19 months up until her death in August. We found the home was kept very clean and the staff were kind and patient with all residents. Entertainment was provided with the residents particularly enjoying a sing-song.
I must also mention the care given to my mum and ourselves as
we kept a 24-hour vigil for a week at the end of Mum's life. The care given to Mum even after her death was outstanding and I would definitely award the home a five-star rating.

Nothing is too much trouble for the hard-working staff working there. I have absolutely no worries about my father's care, he is so well looked after, with understanding and compassion, but most of all he is very happy and at the end of the day that’s all I want for him. Outstanding care home and staff. The home is well managed and my dad was well cared for. They treated my dad and myself as family. My dad has now passed away and during his last few weeks, the staff went over and above spending time with my dad on their days off. I miss the staff so much and I cannot
recommend this care home enough.

18 months ago before my Mum went to Beech House, she was sinking into the stages of Dementia at home. Due to the care and attention given by a care team that is enthusiastic and passionate about their care home and the care that they give to all residents, my mum has stabilised, she has good meals and
plenty of social activities to keep her engaged.
The icing on the cake for 2023, I was able to take my mum home on Christmas Day for a family Christmas and for her to meet her new great-grandchild. Whatever happens now, we will always remember Christmas 2023 as a good one. Thank you Beech House.

My relative is happy in the home and she is well looked after. She made a few friends when she first went to live there. She enjoys the food and they have entertainment at least once a week and have activities.

Beech House provides 24-hour care with compassion and enthusiasm. They have cared for my mum for the past 16 months. The staff are caring and passionate about people’s rights and choices to promote individualised care. The wonderful activities coordinator is a bundle of energy and encourages the residents

The team are caring and pleasant and provides excellent care to all the residents and families, led by excellent leaders.
The manager has worked hard to build a strong cohesive and caring team.
The new activities coordinator is excellent.
The atmosphere is welcoming whenever you visit and the team

I have worked at Beech House for several years and now, as the registered manager, oversee the day-to-day running of the home alongside my senior staff team. My main priority is making sure that all of my ladies and gents are happy, safe and cared for/supported in the way they have chosen. I have a strong and committed team helping me to create a 'home from home' environment and see both the staff team and our residents like my extended family. I encourage family participation, feel privileged to be given the opportunity to care for their loved ones and ensure my door is always open.


I am also the safeguarding lead for the home.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2017

I have worked at Beech House Care Home since 2017. I originally started as a care assistant and have now worked my way up to Deputy Manager - and love it!


I take the lead role in our 'react-to-red' (prevention of pressure damage) and our end-of-life care programme plus head up the weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting with our local medical practice and associated health care professionals.
