Overall, very good and excellent management, staff are always ready to help. My mother is 104 years and has been in for the last four years with excellent care.

It is now three months, since my wife passed on to a much better place, than anywhere on this earth, even Bramwell. Yet, her four year stay at Bramwell, when she needed 24/7 support, was the best thing that could have happened to her. She needed people around her and she found them; she needed people
she could call friends, who had similar needs to her own and she found them; she needed a new place she could call home and she was in one; a home, where she would receive the care, support and companionship she needed, that could be no longer supplied at our family home, even with the help of some wonderful carers, five days a week. Well done Bramwell and many grateful thanks to the manager and all her staff.

My sister entered Bramwell during the 2020 lockdown. She has been looked after very well and has settled well. Always treated with kindness and consideration. The home is always spotlessly clean and has a very pleasant aroma. The only small downside is that communication could be better.

My mother came here in December in a poor state and has really improved with the care and support here. The staff have been wonderful and the overall running of the home is excellent.

The staff at Bramwell are exceptional. My mum had three years of fantastic care. The staff do a wonderful job and treat all their residents with respect and dignity. I cannot praise or thank them enough for the care they gave to Mum.

My Mother had been a resident of Bramwell Care Home for two years before she passed away a few weeks ago surrounded by the incredibly caring, dedicated staff of Bramwell. Moving a loved one into a care facility is an incredibly difficult decision to make and one that we did not take lightly. Over the
two years, Bramwell continually surpassed every expectation we had. Every single team member we came into contact with was empathetic, professional, and understanding and the level of communication was exemplary. The thing that meant the most to our entire family was the care they showed my mum. She was treated as an individual, with dignity, respect, and love. Bramwell truly was her home and we will be eternally grateful for the dedicated professionals who work there and take their jobs very seriously. Honestly, we couldn't have had a better experience. A++ Bramwell and thank you for taking such good care of "Nan."

My Aunty was at Bramwell for 4 years. Both she and I were extremely happy with everything that the home and staff had to offer. The staff are like angels and the home is kept so clean. She enjoyed the food, and lots of activities, she was never bored. The rooms are all well decorated and bright, all
the corridors have beautiful pictures on the walls. We loved spending time together in the Cafe and in the pretty courtyard. When it came to the beginning of the end of my Aunty’s life, they looked after me just as well as they did her. I truly couldn’t have wished for her to have been anywhere else. From the bottom of my heart, I thank them all for making my Aunty’s life so happy here.

We are very pleased with the care that my relative is treated. The staff are friendly, helpful and very poke. The cleanliness is of a high standard and her bedroom is pleasant and roomy. When we visit we are always made very welcome. My relative seems happy and contented here many thanks!

My father in law was accepted to Bramwell House which was a massive worry to our family as we had been caring for him at home for many years. On arrival at Bramwell, we were informed there was covid in the home and he would be isolated for 14 days in his room after providing a negative test as part
of his admission terms. On the second day, we were informed that he had been sitting in the communal lounge and had in fact been eating his meals in the dining room with other service users which alone caused us as a family a great deal of concern. Other issues arose during his week at Bramwell, including lack of qualified staff to administer prescribed medication, allegations of abuse from my father in law, and what I saw with my own eyes when he was in the ambulance after a fall. From knowing a very proud man for many years, the picture of him unkempt, dirty and very frightened will never leave me. He had been left on the floor for 6 hours and was blue with cold, not even a pair of socks on. Very bad.

I'm Kat. I have been a Receptionist at Bramwell for the past 6 months, and I truly enjoy being part of this close-knit and supportive team. I feel incredibly productive and appreciated in my role, and I’ve quickly become familiar with the home’s daily operations. What I love most about working at Bramwell is the sense of family—getting to know both the residents and their families has been a rewarding experience. I'm proud to be part of such a successful and well-managed home, where we all work together to provide the best care.


In my free time, I enjoy playing the kalimba, and I’ve mastered the iconic "Darude Sandstorm" on it—it's a surprisingly useful skill! I also have a background in archery, where I used to compete. My passion for history is reflected in my studies of mediaeval and Russian history, and when I’m unwinding, you’ll often find me playing the guitar or diving into a game of Skyrim.

In my role, I assist with the day-to-day running of the home, and I thrive on the challenge and responsibility that come with it. I enjoy pushing myself to grow and learn more, and the strong teamwork around me helps me achieve my goals.


I like to keep the atmosphere light-hearted, often joking with the team—though sometimes I end up in a little bit of trouble for it! Outside of work, I enjoy reading books, exploring new experiences, and spending quality time playing with my son.

I am Efa, and I have been serving as a Care Team Leader for the past 1 year and 8 months. My role has been both challenging and rewarding, providing me with opportunities to grow in character, decision-making, and in my interactions with staff, families, and others. I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives, and I take pride in my work.


As a Dementia Champion, I have been able to lead initiatives that focus on improving care and supporting residents. I am especially proud of achieving the Excellence in Residence Experiences 2024 award, which highlights the impact of our work. However, I do feel disappointed at times when I fail to execute as well as I’d like, but I use it as motivation to improve.

I take great pride in making the residents happy by fixing anything they ask me to do, and I enjoy spending time chatting with them. Building relationships with the residents and their families is something I truly value, and I’m committed to keeping the home safe, clean, and well-maintained.


Outside of work, I’m an enthusiast of bike rides, motorbikes, and fancy cars—always enjoying the thrill and freedom they bring.

My name is Chacko, and I am the Home Administrator at Bramwell. I have been with the company for 2 years. I find it immensely rewarding to know that my efforts as an administrator contribute to the well-being and quality of life of our residents. I hold two postgraduate degrees from different universities. As a child, I always imagined myself becoming an army officer.
