Thank you for this information and while improving the home/building for all residents long standing and new this is something that unfortunately we cant help and the Team do try there best to answer the rear gate as quick as they are able whilst also supporting residents. However the good news is the new front entrance has been planned to be up and running second week in April 2025. Glad you are happy with the care your mum is being supported with.Kind Regards.

Thank you for this information and we are glad that you are happy with the service we provide, Just to forward some information within the coming months we will be refurbishing the home and extending, the two buildings where you walk into the courtyard will joined on together and will become the new front door and entrance, with a reception area, This is the reason we have not made alterations to the door that is used at present. This will no longer have an effect on anyone having to wait for long periods of time while our care team are supporting your loved ones. Job Title: Home Manager
South Moor Lodge is led by its experienced manager, Lisa McAnulty, who supports our qualified team of care, kitchen and housekeeping staff.
Lisa joined South Moor Lodge in August 2018, having worked within the elderly care sector for 25 years. After beginning her vocation in care, as a care assistant, Lisa has worked her way up the ladder. Lisa and her team, work tirelessly to ensure that all our residents are supported, and cared for to a high standard, whilst promoting their dignity at all times.
Lisa passionately believes that we are invited to work in our residents’ home, and the empowerment of their choices, rights, independence, are fundamental to her approach to care.
