14 months ago, we had reached the point where my uncle could no longer live alone at home. After viewing several homes and doing some research, we settled on Hamilton's. So glad we did! It is homely and welcoming, and the care my uncle received from all the staff was second to none. They treated him
with care, kindness and dignity but also with fun and laughter. My uncle has very sadly just passed away, but the staff were amazing right until the very end, both with him and us. Truly special people who work there. I can't thank them enough for the dignified, loving end to his life.

2 weeks ago my mum was sent to Hamilton house from hospital and was on the pathway, she wasn't expected to live much longer but the staff gave time and patience and brought mum off the pathway and back to her former self. My wife and I cannot thank the staff enough for what they did so from the bottom
of our hearts, a massive thank you to all the staff at Hamilton House.

My brother is in Hamilton House at the moment; I would highly recommend it, the staff are very caring and helpful.
I can't see him at the moment because of Covid, but I ring daily, and they are always polite and you can hear them in the background always sounding happy and friendly.

My stepdad came into Hamilton Rest Home from hospital after a fall for respite care.
Unfortunately, it was during the Covid-19 outbreak so we could not visit but the staff were amazing and caring, bringing my dad to the phone every time to talk to us and our mum.
He was wonderfully looked after and
nothing was too much for the staff on the phone.
My dad came home after nearly 4 weeks, he looked very healthy and cared for.
Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of him.

It is an awful time in anyone's life when a realisation is apparent that you are no longer able to look after or care for yourself. This happened to our family in July this year my mother had struggled for some time, dad did his best to care for her along with family help but there comes a time when
you become aware and understand that things can’t carry on like they have been doing.
I felt so appalling that I was the one putting my parents in a care home, how would they settle? Fortunately, we came upon Hamilton Care Home, we had found a wonderful oasis where mam and dad could see out their days.
We have found the home to be extremely clean and wonderfully welcoming but most of all for us, what we term homely. I can’t praise the staff enough right through from top to bottom they treat all the residents as friends rather than people to be looked after, there is plenty of good, hearty food available and choice to go with it.
Parents settled amazingly well and I offer 100% recommendation

My lovely mum made the decision to move into a care home nearly two years ago. I can’t say we are a family which is easy to please, but thankfully my sister found this little gem. If you want a large, corporate, modern kind of facility, owned by faceless names, this might not be for you. Hamilton Rest
Home is a small, friendly, homely kind of environment where the owner is on site. It is a huge thing for both a loved one and the family to make this move. How lovely then to see Mum settled, happy and WELL CARED FOR. There is always something going on for Mum to get involved in if she wishes. She particularly enjoys the singalongs on TV and entertainment that Hamilton Rest Home arranges. Family are always welcome. Mum celebrated her 101st birthday here last year, with a splendid buffet provided for family, friends and residents. She is doing so well, thanks to the care from staff and management at Hamilton Rest Home and will be celebrating her 102nd birthday next month. I believe a few more birthdays will follow. Many thanks to all.
