Abbeyfield House is a place of comfort, security and friendship.

The house has 16 bedrooms, most of which are ensuite. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture to feel at home as much as possible.

There is a communal lounge and dining area which are regularly used for spending time together at mealtimes and socialising. The house has a lovely garden area perfect spending time outdoors.

Staff arrange a variety of activities and days out with the residents.

The home is situated just a mile from Bramhall Village Centre, close to shops and local amenities.

My mum moved into Abbeyfield in February 2020 - she was recovering from illness and needed general care. Within weeks they were in lockdown but the team of very caring and capable staff looked after her so well as she adjusted to these massive changes in her life. I managed to see her for a few outdoor
distanced meetings last summer and speak to her regularly - when she tells me how lovely the carers are and how well they are looking after her. I had my first visit with her this week when we could be in the same room together and I was delighted with how well she looked and how content she is. I can’t thank the team enough.

The staff at Abbeyfield House Bramhall have gone above and beyond my expectations, especially during the Covid pandemic. My mother was quite low before the lockdowns, but the care and support she has been given these last months has given me great peace of mind at a time I was unable to visit. The care
she has received has resulted in a positive outcome, and she is now much brighter and healthier since before she became a resident.
Abbeyfield House is a very homely environment, and being small, enables residents to feel comfortable socialising at mealtimes and in the lounge and get to know each other and the staff. It is also reassuring to know that the staff very rarely changes so my mother gets to know them by name. I can only thank everyone for all that they have done for my mother and continue to do.

My Mum moved to Abbeyfield after several safeguarding issues elsewhere. Moving during a Covid lockdown was not ideal. However, I cannot praise the staff at Abbeyfield enough. The manager and her team are amazing. They really do care and have treated my Mum with such kindness and respect. We are updated
on how Mum is and have daily contact with Mum. Soon of course we will be allowed to go in the home and hold Mum's hand. Moving a loved one into a care home is a traumatic and upsetting time for all the family but I can honestly say Abbeyfield have been fabulous with Mum and with us the family. At last, I am sleeping knowing my Mum is truly being cared for!

The staff at this care home are exceptional. The care and attention they gave to my mother in her final few months have been amazing. They also have been a great support to me as well.
Nothing has been too much trouble for them and their kindness in incredible. Every little detail has been taken care
of and they go way beyond any job requirement.
This is a small home and I use the term literally - it is a home to the residents there and the whole atmosphere is one of a happy family.
I shall never forget them and think I had better book my place now!!!

Care of my mother has been excellent during the time of her residence- since 2019 and during 2020 and the Covid pandemic. The carers have continued the standard of care during these difficult times. As a retired GP, I have experience of care homes.

I am writing in reference to my father in law, who died on 26th June. Abbeyfield gave him the best possible care in the last year, since he arrived in July 2018. I can't begin to say just how terrific, caring and conscientious the staff are.
I would have liked to name them all personally, as they seem
to go beyond what would be the norm. They are angels and deserve the highest praise.

I can't praise all the staff at Abbeyfield enough. They gave my dad a safe, caring, loving home. He had a lovely room, delicious meals and snacks, plenty of activities to join in with (if he wanted). All the staff are so kind and attentive - we felt we were leaving dad in good hands and that gave us
peace of mind. It is spotless and smells clean too! Lovely gardens to sit in. Genuine care at its best.

My father has been here for nearly 2 months and we are delighted with the care with which he is receiving. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. They are cheerful, kind and efficient.
My father's dementia has improved and we all feel he is genuinely benefitting from his stay at Abbeyfield.
The
premises are smart, tidy, clean and above all smell present. The gardens are the bonus, beautifully tended. Many Thanks.

When visiting this lovely home I see the staff treating residents with kindness and dignity. There is a happy cheerful atmosphere, various activities throughout the year and although I have not eaten a meal here the menus look and smell varied and appetising with regular tea and coffee breaks.

My mother was a resident at this home for two years. She passed away aged 97! The home provided exceptional warmth, care and attention. Each resident is treated as an individual in physical and emotional care. All needs are cared for. Communication with family members is to be greatly admired. Cleanliness
and hygiene are second to none. All dietary requirements are honoured.

My dear mother has been at Abbeyfield for approximately three years. It was a very hard decision to stop caring for her at home after her Alzheimer's got progressively worse. I visit my mother every day and I would like to praise all the staff from the cleaners to the cooks and carers. They really excel
in the care they provide and the love I feel every time I walk through the door.
I am eternally grateful to them all.

Abbeyfield have looked after, cared for and cherished, my mother with dignity, respect and freely given her their time for years. They supported us her family when times were hard (when we lost my father). I find everyone from the seniors, chefs to the cleaners first class. They have the best collection
of first class staff. I think we are lucky to have found Abbeyfield.
