All the staff are so good, always patient with the residents, and treat them with 100% dignity no matter what is occurring. Take a genuine interest in every individual and tailor their approach accordingly. Activities on offer are super, really positive approach to do as much as possible and again,
tailor outings to the individual.

My mum has had nothing but the best care, attention and love from all the staff. Well looked after. Could not be more happy.
At the end of my mum's life, treated with love, care and dignity. All carers and management could not have done more and also, my feelings were looked after, so kind and calm
and helped me get through her passing. The residents helped also.

My husband was in Bamford Close Care Home until he passed away in July. The staff and management were absolutely amazing. They cared for him with dignity and love and we, as a family, knew he was cared for 100%. Thank you all.

Bamford Close Care Home looked after my dad from May 2023 until he passed in July 2023.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The compassion and care they show to both residents and families are exemplary - nothing is too much trouble. I can never than them enough.

Within four days we could bring our demented sister-in-law from Brittany to Bamford Close Care Home. All was well prepared, I spent many hours in the home before my sister-in-law came, lots of talking about her life story. Staff extremely friendly, not only to residents but among each other too.
Very
positive they assessed her strengths and skills of the demented person. When she came, all knew about her, a lovely welcome, very moving. She's been a week and has settled and feels very well. Thank you all very much!

Came to a residents 90th birthday party was excellent.

Mum has been in the care home for a long time and often some minor issues that were rectified swiftly. She is being very well looked after and cared for. Really happy with all who do their best for her.

My dad has been at Bamford Close Care Home for 10 months now and can say the care he's received from all staff has been excellent. My dad is 91 and suffers from dementia which can be challenging at times but has been treated with dignity and understanding at all times. I just feel we were so lucky to
get him a place here.

My mum had lived at Bamford Close Care Home for over 11 years and the majority of her time was enjoyable. The last 16 months have been really good. Unfortunately, she had a stroke on 1st Feb 2023 and was not expected to survive. After a week in the hospital, she was allowed to return to Bamford Close
and the care she received for the last 5 weeks of her life from all the Bamford staff was just exceptional and very caring. I was so happy she got to spend her last weeks there with staff and friends she knew rather than in the hospital. The home has many activities for the residents and the staff are very caring and professional all at the same time as being very friendly too. The recent management is exceptional and always puts residents first which is what really matters. There is a friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter the building and you can tell there is a good teamwork effort from all the staff. I would highly recommend Bamford Close Care Home.

On the 28th of November, we called to see a friend who has been moved to Bamford Close Care Home. We found the facilities to be overall excellent, the cleanliness, the staff and management and the care/support couldn't do enough to help the residents. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Lots
of activities, the food and drinks look good, rooms are good, safety and security are good. Overall a great place.

Attended a birthday party for my cousin on 09/01/23. My cousin has Cerebral Palsy and has lived at Bamford Close for a number of years. She highly rates the carers and is well looked after and is very happy here. Thanks to the staff in the kitchen as well-good buffet and music/dancing.

The activities are much better than they used to be. The food always looks lovely.
Staffing levels seem to be getting quite low. My nanna always has clothes/glasses/PJs etc going missing despite them being labelled. Her dressing gown has been missing for weeks.
The notice board/menu never seems
to have the right day or date displayed with could cause even more confusion to residents.

We are sorry you feel your Nana's items go missing but this is very normal in a busy home, and we are pleased to let you know she has her glasses and dressing gown in her room. The menu boards were purchased by me (the Manager) and I fill these in myself - they were not filled in when I was on annual leave but will ensure they are going forward.

My cousin hated his previous care home and it closed due to it being so bad. He loves this care home and the staff. He has memory and communication problems but not Dementia. The staff go out of their way to see to his needs. He is happy at Bamford Close Care Home and I do not worry for him now he is
there.

Deborah Whitworth has been a Care Home Manager for over 10 years and has worked at Borough Care since November 2021. Deborah started off as a Care Assistant 30 years ago and worked her way to Senior Care, Team Leader, and Nurse Aid before becoming a Manager in 2010. She loves working in care because she likes to make a difference in residents’ lives and ensure they are happy and cared for. Deborah has an open-door policy and will always make time to speak to our lovely families about their loved ones.
