Bryn Haven is a delightful property that has been refurbished and upgraded specifically to suit adults with complex mental health conditions and dementia.

It is located in the Brinnington area of Stockport with close links to the local pedestrianised shopping area and health centre.

The home can accommodate up to 41 residents, offering a choice of communal lounges, including a wonderful, large conservatory, which provides a bright and airy seating area.

Residents can enjoy a game of dominoes, or snakes and ladders in the games room, or choose to take in some fresh air in the newly refurbished summerhouse.

Mum has only been at Bryn haven for 3 weeks initially teething problems but once spoke to staff + management these were quickly rectified.
Building is bright + clean
Mum took a couple of weeks to start to settle but we feel that staff have helped her to feel comfortable and settled
Activities on
offer @ Bryn Haven are excellent and have something everyday that Mum can choose whether or not she wants to join in with - Brilliant start to care home experience.

My father settled in quickly, this followed a period of being very unsettled and depressed. All the staff make a great effort to help to make him feel valued, respected and welcome. My father is now in much better mental health, his physical health has improved greatly and even after bouts of illness
he has made a good recovery, again this is because of the care he is given. He is happier and feels Bryn Haven is a 'haven' for him and his home.

This was my mum's first Christmas in the home, the team made the home feel warm, and inviting and was decorated lovely. They had lots of events and involved us all as much as possible. The tables were decorated lovely and Christmas day was beautiful, I didn't stay, but felt reassured that my mum would
have a good day. The Christmas party was great, amazing atmosphere from staff, residents and family. Thank you for making a difficult day seem so good.

My sister-in-law has been a resident here for nearly two years. She has received excellent care. The management and staff are all of a very high standard and go about their work with a smile. There is a very happy and homely atmosphere and this is reflected in the residents' faces. All areas are spotlessly
clean and the food, which my wife and I have tried, is of a very good standard.

My husband has been resident in Bryn Haven for over three years. This is his home and he is very settled. The staff are absolutely amazing in the care and support they give him and myself. Each day is different but the staff are always there to support and assist him, no matter what he needs. Because
he is well cared for both physically and emotionally, this gives me a lot of comfort and I am so grateful to all of them for being there for him always.
The home has extensive entertainment with a regular programme of activities. There are brilliant singers who are very good and they get the residents to participate and the staff support in the activities encouraging participation by the residents.
I'm very grateful to have my husband in this home. I am able to see him in a very special place for him, which means that I am able to relax knowing he's safe and content.
I am very thankful for all the support and care that he receives on a daily basis.

Our gratitude for the manager and the Bryn Haven team is immense. Before discovering this incredible place, my father's previous care home experience was distressing, with lapses leading to falls and hospitalisation. Finding a new, trustworthy home felt daunting, but Bryn Haven was our saving grace.
From
our first contact, the manager's warmth was clear. Though we were out of town, we received a virtual tour that made us feel welcomed and reassured. The caring staff and vibrant atmosphere showed us Bryn Haven was more than a care home; it was a compassionate community.
On move-in day, a video call lifted our spirits - my father was laughing with the hairdresser, enjoying his first haircut in months. Since then, he's been happier and healthier. Each visit, we're warmly welcomed, offered tea, and see how staff know each resident personally.
Their safety measures, like chair alarms and attentive staff, give us peace of mind. The manager and her team have made this decision one of the best we've ever made.

Bryn Haven has been absolutely fantastic in their care for my grandma. They went above and beyond to ensure she settled when she first arrived and while she was there. I cannot put into words how grateful I am that my dad is cared for and looked after by a great team at Bryn Haven. The staff are usually very welcoming and polite and are happy to answer any questions or give advice if asked for. Even though my dad is now bed-bound I can tell that he is comfortable
and while it is difficult to know his feelings I get the sense that he is happy with his room and surroundings. He is lucky enough to have a garden view which is very calming.

Myself and my family are really pleased with the care our brother gets. The staff are always friendly and we are always offered a cuppa when we visit. The home is spotlessly clean and our brother is happy there.

Visited my beloved friend on Valentine's Day, was invited to stay for tea. What an effort the staff had gone to, beautifully decorated, wonderful food. This place is not a care home, it's a real home, the people residing here are treated as they would be when they were at their own home. I have visited
quite a few residential homes over the years, and this is by far the best. If I ever had to end my days in care, this is the place I would want it to be. Well done Bryn Haven and thank you.

Amazing, caring staff who keep me informed about how Mum's doing, despite me living 4,000 miles away. They call and advise me of any problems or if Mum needs anything.
