I am very pleased with how well the care home runs. The staff and management have loads of patience. There is always some sort of activity to do or go to. They try to get everyone to be involved. I find this home a very happy atmosphere and place to visit.

We come every week to visit, and most of the time she is content and happy. There are good and bad days but the staff are very patient with her which can be stressful at times. Overall we are happy with everything.

My mum was a resident at Lisburne Court for four years until she passed away in January. Me and my family were very pleased with the excellent care she received and the large amount of varied activities provided, which my mum liked to join in. When my mum was put on end-of-life care, she was treated
with the utmost care, respect and dignity, and we, as a family, were well supported.

Mum has been a resident at Lisburne Court over two years now and is more wobbly and cheeky now, but yet again, the lovely activities lady gave Mum a fantastic '91st' birthday party - singer, dance, balloons, buffet and another happy memory for family to treasure. Food varied and tasty, caters to Mum's
diabetic diet brilliantly. I'm convinced Mum is still with us due to the hard-working caring staff who give her so much fun and affection plus input of seniors who are super efficient and patient at seeing to Mum's medical needs. Mum loves the staff and is very happy in their company, her huge smile as soon as she sees them says it all. Thank you.

The staff are great, very helpful. Always friendly. The rooms are very clean, everyone is happy with the music and things to do around the home. Everyone tries to get them out and about with trips out.

I always feel confident that my mum is receiving excellent care. All the staff are kind and friendly. Always lots going on regarding entertainment and trips out.
It is naturally a very hard time seeing my mum's condition deteriorate and it breaks my heart every time I see her but I know she is safe
and being cared for with dignity. It is important to me that her appearance is near with matching clothes, hair done and clean nails, as she has always been a proud lady.

My dad has been a resident here for over 3 years now. A month ago he had a fall and broke his hip. He was released from the hospital not walking, and all the staff at Lisburne Court have been incredibly supportive and caring in his recovery. They have taken the time to keep his dignity and ensure his
best interests are always kept at the forefront. They have encouraged him to try to start moving again, assisting him when he tries to stand, helping him eat and taking care of all his personal care needs. I honestly cannot fault them, and am so thankful Dad is so well looked after during this challenging time.

As always, when we visited, Mum appeared well cared for and content. As we live in Kent, we are only able to visit a few times a year, but we are always struck by how helpful and upbeat all the staff are. We can tell that they know Mum really well and understand her individual needs. We were very happy
that Mum lives at Lisbyrne Vourt and appreciate the care she receives.

My mum has been at Lisborne Court for nearly four years, and from day one, settled in straight away. Bring offered a cup of tea on her first day and she was off to get comfy and find a rich tea biscuit!
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and if they need me to give permission for any requests,
they ring me straight away. I'm always at ease and reassured afterwards. My mum has always been reassured if she's feeling apprehensive or doubtful, and is encouraged to get involved. The activities are fantastic and fun for all, with smiles on the resident's faces! Some even get up and have a jig.

In the middle of 2023 it became clear that Mum's worsening conditions meant we had to find her a care home and one that was near a certain town. With trepidation we began a search and after many visits to many care homes chose Lisburne Court. It just stood out from the rest.
A friendly welcome, a lovely
staff-resident relationship, a well-organised unbelievable entertainment and activity program, so clean and warm and overall a very well-run care home.
January 2024 has been no different, long may it continue.

I am very happy with my mum's care, they are very approachable and always willing to help. Every member of staff is always pleasant and we always end up laughing over something. They have plenty of entertainment and a full diary of activities. It's a modern, clean and bright home.

My mother is 97 years old and has lived at Lisburne Court for 5.5 years. During all this time her care has been excellent and she has always been treated with dignity and respect, I have always felt welcomed by the staff when I visit. The regular GP care facilitated by the home is brilliant and has
avoided unnecessary trips to the hospital. Thank you.

Since my wife was admitted to her care home in April of this year she has been well looked after by the staff. My wife is still at the stage where she can communicate. She gets on well with the staff which makes a big difference to her daily life. Any medical problems during her residence have been

Hayley

Hayley Weston

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2019

Hayley has worked with Borough Care for over 25 years, beginning her career in 1999, and has been the Home Manager for Lisburne Court since August 2019.


Hayley enjoys working in care because she wants to make a real difference and ensure our residents have everything they want and need, and says her team is special because they are a fantastic bunch of people; ‘They all go above and beyond from doing hair, joining in the activities and ensuring our residents are well looked after.’


Her favourite thing about the residents is that no one is the same. She said, ‘All our residents are individuals and all have unique qualities. They are fantastic. Lisburne Court is a busy home with lots of activities going on.’
