The staff at this home are exceptionally helpful and have made myself so secure in the care they are providing for my father. He has dementia and it is a very painful road for myself and my family but this care home is outstanding in all respects.

My mum is very happy in Lisburne Court, which makes me very happy. She is cared for with superb professionalism and dignity. I cannot praise every member of staff enough. The food is delicious and nutritious and arts, crafts and entertainment are supplied and encouraged. Trips out are also on the agenda.
The level of care is amazing and as a family, we cannot fault it. The home is always spotlessly clean. If I had to mark it out of 10, I would give it a 10. Top notch, first class in all areas.

My Mum had to be placed into a care home back in February, living overseas I had the daunting task of locating a home for Mum before returning overseas. The manager and assistant manager at the home were wonderful there is no other word to describe the help they gave me. Mum has settled in and the staff
are just the best. It has given me peace of mind to know that Mum is safe and being so well looked after.

Lisburne Court is the most caring, organised, welcoming residential home I have been connected to. My husband is so well looked after by all the caring staff and the manager and deputy are extremely approachable and will always sort out a problem straight away. I cannot say enough about the care my
husband gets. Wonderful people from manager to carers and the activity leader. Also catering staff and cleaners.

My mum was visiting the day centre as she does regularly. On this particular day, I was picking her up about 2ish so I could take her home then pick my children up from school. As I arrived they had entertainment on when I arrived and I knew I was going to have difficulty taking mum away as she loves
music so I knew I'd be a party pooper. As predicted mum was adamant she wasn't leaving and I became distressed as time went on and I was on a time scale. The ladies working there that day were so helpful at first she wouldn't leave for them either one of the ladies went to ask if she could stay the night which by then had become an option. One of the ladies was still talking to her then all of a sudden she said she would come if she could come again. I was so grateful for their help, support and understanding of my situation and obviously, I am happy with the care that my mum receives here. Thank you.

This home is a wonderful place for a family member to be. All the staff are always really approachable, very friendly and have a lovely caring attitude, they are always giving hugs to residents.
Nothing is too much trouble and it shows with the calm feeling within the building. Good food and if there
are any problems or dietary needs, they are catered for immediately. It is nice to see a manager that is also willing to he involved with the residents. Nothing is a problem, always approachable and always had time to speak to you.

My mother has lived at this care home for two and three quarter years. She has Alzheimers Disease and needs help with everything. No longer recognises anyone and cannot talk but does sing a lot of the time (la la not words). The staff at the home have been lovely with her. She is always clean and gets
lots of hugs from the carers. When she unfortunately fell off her chair and banged her head recently. I was told by the ambulance man that Lisburne Court was definitely one of the better homes in the area. The home is always welcoming to family members and has a lovely open environment with compassionate and friendly staff.

I find the home Lisburn Court and the patients well looked after, they all seemed to be lovely and clean, fed and they have plenty of attention from the staff.

Hayley

Hayley Weston

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2019

Hayley has worked with Borough Care for over 25 years, beginning her career in 1999, and has been the Home Manager for Lisburne Court since August 2019.


Hayley enjoys working in care because she wants to make a real difference and ensure our residents have everything they want and need, and says her team is special because they are a fantastic bunch of people; ‘They all go above and beyond from doing hair, joining in the activities and ensuring our residents are well looked after.’


Her favourite thing about the residents is that no one is the same. She said, ‘All our residents are individuals and all have unique qualities. They are fantastic. Lisburne Court is a busy home with lots of activities going on.’
