Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve on our service where required. We have asked the well-being co-ordinator to meet with you again, to discuss what activities you would enjoy participating in. The staff will continue to meet with you daily, to discuss with you, what activities are taking place in the home that day and if you wish to participate. In relation to staff training to enhance communication with you, we are currently working with a social worker who is organising training for the staff team, to enhance this area of your care. I have also discussed your concerns with the staff team, so they are aware to introduce themselves and only one person to speak at once.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Wayne has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. He is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Wayne closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. He extends this caring approach to his Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what he enjoys most about his role and why he decided to work in the care sector, Wayne remarked:
“The variety of the role, providing a safe, happy and fun place to live and work.”
“The old cliché but I wanted to make a difference, to hear laughter from staff and Residents is priceless and makes the harder days easier.”
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and dogs as well as getting fit.
