Residents are able to maintain strong links with community life, maintaining as much personal independence as possible, while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from being in a 24-hour care setting. Staff are caring, kind and qualified in supporting older people.

Golborne is part of the CLS Group, which provides ongoing support to the home in terms of staff training and property services. It is highly regarded in the local community and amongst peer organisations.

Since my mum came to stay she has been so much happier than when she was living at home. I have been most impressed with the Staff who are welcoming, friendly, helpful and always attentive to my mothers needs. I am always kept well informed of her progress and I feel confident that she is being well
cared for. They provide lots of entertainment for the residents and my mum is now happy to call this her home.

Well what can I say but that Golborne House is a credit to the girls and management! You have some very special people working there. The room and cleanliness were very good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Golborne House to any body worried about elderly care.

Since my aunt has arrived here she is a lot happier. Her needs are always taken care of. She always tells me the meals are lovely and she is well-fed. Everyone here is always lovely when I visit.

We have found the care home to be very friendly and homely, warm, very clean and providing good food. Our concerns that the new resident may not settle quickly were unfounded, he was made to feel part of the team from the word go. As visitors, we have always been treated respectfully with all the staff
being very helpful. The cat is an added bonus.

My mum has been a resident at Golborne House for almost 4 years. From the very start she has been well looked after and very happy. Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly and they communicate with family extremely well. It’s clear that Mum’s welfare and wellbeing are their priority and we have
never had any concerns about her care. We are always encouraged to speak to them if we have any concerns and they very much have an open-door policy for families to speak to them if they feel that they need to. The management team are excellent and this filters through to all other staff (carers, entertainment staff, catering staff etc). They provide excellent day trips and entertainment for residents to enjoy. They keep families regularly updated with general info and photos on their social media pages. It’s extremely hard to move your loved one into a care home but it’s so much easier to cope with when you have the wonderful experience that we have had. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful job that you do!

The whole staff at Golborne House are always welcoming and cheerful when we arrive to visit my mother. Her bedroom is kept very clean, and she seems happy and settled. She enjoys the activities, especially dominos and bingo.

Golborne House makes me feel confident that my mum is being cared for, the staff are always friendly and caring, and take time to speak if I have any questions about my mum.
I love the fact that most of the staff are local and most of them know all the families of the residents.

My mother-in-law was a resident here from November 2023 until February 2024. Although she was only here for a short time, she was so very happy, it's just a shame she didn't get to spend longer here, but unfortunately she passed away on the 2nd February 2024.
She made friends very quickly with both
the staff and other residents and the staff were amazing with her.
Nothing was too much trouble and they were so welcoming to us when we came for a visit.
As a family, we would like to say a heartfelt thanks to you all for the care you gave to our lovely Mum.
She has left a huge gap in our lives and I'm sure she'll be missed at Golborne House too.

As a family, we are pleased my nan is in this home. Every staff member gives their all to her and it's nice to see her laughing and joking with certain staff members. Shower day can be a bit stressful for my nan but they never fail to get her her hygiene up to standard. They have a lot of patience and
she has settled in very nicely now after living there just under 12 months.

The standard of care provided to my father-in-law by the staff at Golborne House was first class and I cannot thank them enough. They were always very welcoming to all our family members, whilst at the same time ensuring that all visitors, staff and residents were kept safe during our visits. Thank

My brother is living advertisement for Golbourne House for the loving care he has received - especially in these most trying of times. Every member of staff I have met has been cheerful and very helpful. Most importantly he is happy and I have peace of mind knowing that he is safe and well cared for.

The staff are very caring and look after the residents very well. The home is very clean and tidy. There are always activities going on and fundraising is always taking place for the residents' comfort fund. The food is good and the staff try to cater to the residents' every need.
