Choosing a nursing home and deciding to move my grandma in there was a tough decision. The management and staff at Norley Hall helped make the transition easy. We still worry about grandma and she chooses not to participate in all activities but she does seem to be treated with care and dignity and
genuine affection by her carers. I am satisfied and confident with Norley Hall.

I would recommend this home to anyone dad has been in there two years and is very happy there and he is well looked after.
The staff keep you well informed of everything that is going on in the home and they are always organising something to keep the residents entertained.

Excellent 'wrap around' care for the elderly. Dedicated staff who treat residents in a way which they are 'family'. Excellent liaison between staff (all levels) and family members. Keeping family members informed of any issues/developments in the general well being of their residents. Open door policy
with a welcoming and friendly ambience as soon as you enter the building. Provide good nourishing meals.

I have been in the health and social care sector for over 30 years now, starting out as a young care assistant at just the age of 19.


It was while working with dementia residents, especially that I found my calling and knew that this was what I wanted to do.


From assistant cook to carer to senior, I worked as a theatre assistant in the hospital environment also, working my way up to home manager almost 8 years ago.


I have achieved all NVQs in health and social care from 2 to 4 and up to a Diploma level 5 in Leadership and Management.


I am a very interactive manager and love nothing better than to sit and chat with each of the residents that we care for at Norley Hall. My aim is that each and every one of them feels like part of our family.


I am cheerful and positive and lead by example, to deliver the highest standard of care possible.


I believe that quality activities and interactions are as important as eating, drinking and sleeping. If we get this right then we can be sure that our residents will have the quality of life that they expect.
